Mixed results implies you found some downsides, but I haven't seen you mention any so far for the auger.

I need to dig holes on a fairly substantial slope… wondering how this would handle uneven or steep terrain.

How far out inches is the auger point from the wheel track and is it extendable? I have a planter wall that fence sits on and the wall is 36" from fence.
