My husband put a mix cd of their first 3 albums in my car when we were dating and just... once it "sunk in" I was in love. I adore these guys. They just released an album a year or two ago, so you'll have to wait another 5 prolly for a new one, haha. But in the meantime you have a nice cache of albums to explore & fall in love with. Love this band so much. Absolute Favorite. Btw, Coherence is excellent to speed walk your dog to, prolly great to jog to as well, but I don't jog, I either walk Super fast or I run, and both of those go great with Be'lakor. 😅🤷‍♀️.

@@TheWolffAndTheMelody my personal favorite album is Of Breath and Bone, others would argue Stone’s Reach which is a very close second for me. There truly isn’t a bad album. And their first is hard to get your hands on.

The entire album Vessels that The Smoke Of Many Fires is from is a masterpiece! Every single song tells a story that ends up connecting to the next song's story, culminating in the track you just heard. I'd highly recommend checking out everything they've done, as they're one of the only 2 bands that I've heard where I can listen to every song on every album and not feel the need to skip one.

I've been chilling in the background for a few weeks now. I stumbled upon your reactions to Wintersun, one of my favourite bands, so been following a bit since. Glad to see you now listen to yet another one of my favourites, Be'lakor. My only recommendation with them is to listen to the entire Vessels album, it tells a story with this song being the last, kinda brings a tear to the eye after the rest of the journey you take.
One other suggestion, please check out Transcience by Shylmagoghnar, you won't regret it

One of the bands i've heard of but never really checked out. You know it's good when a song is this long and still feels too short, and damn these 9 minutes went away fast indeed. All these changes and transitions that somehow fits perfectly well together made for one hell of a ride. The way the song is put together seems kinda similar to how NW songs can be like 10 songs in one, and when you hear a new one you have no idea where it goes next.

Go listen to stone’s reach and of breath and bone if you haven’t already. Both perfect masterpiece records from them. Vessels the album this is from is fantastic too and their most recent record coherence is great too. They’re pretty widely consider to be one of the best melodeath bands in the world the last ~14yrs or so since stone’s reach dropped. Every song of theirs is really good to phenomenal. This song while great isn’t even one of their best songs imo
