I don't think people realize how much of a big deal it is that Deukae got invited to Primavera Sound. The last time that was held in 2019, it had 220,000 people in attendance. So few K-pop groups ever get to perform on a stage of that scale. It's a huge honor, and we should all be super proud of the members for climbing to the top of the world like that. They are truly one of a kind, and no one will ever be able to replace them.

I remember back when we were a small fandom and would get excited when we got them 1 million views in just over a week. Look at them now, killing the game! This got me in the feels 😭
It's really emotional for me to remember those times because even though we get much better numbers now, the future almost seemed brighter then. The rookie hype has worn off and now we have to deal with the struggle of being a mid-tier group that isn't hitting big numbers in SK after 3+ years. It's actually worse than that sounds because we know that there's an element of deliberate sabotage to that from the Kpop industry interests. So the pre-Deja Vu past brings back a ton of nostalgia for me. It was a simpler time to be InSomnia. The original Nightmare story arc was crazy and so much fun while it lasted. My personal take is that 2017-19 were slightly better for music than 2020-21, mainly because they've regressed away from the rock sound slightly. I'm not sure they won't go back to releasing songs like Good Night and Piri but the fact that they've arguably had breakout success by not doing that is worrying, cuz money talks. Anyway, yeah, I miss the pre-Deja Vu-rigging era and I'm kind of sad that such a huge proportion of Somnias are too new to remember it. So much happened in those three years that shouldn't be forgotten, and I feel like a lot of it is.
@@plasmakitten4261 woah thank you for putting what i really wanted to say in such a beautiful way, indeed i really miss '17-'19 sound... i always wondering will they ever do something like 'Good Night' or 'Piri' again in the future and not for b side but for a title track, but every single time i ask other insomnias and discuss it, it always back to "they are progressing and they are trying a new sound" "they need more reach for new audience so they need to tone down the rock sound" "we still got that as a b side" and some also said "you can listen to other group / artist" (kinda rude tho), which makes me really sad because i know all of them are true :') i guess being a fan is also accepting changes, but still.... i wish they can go hard on rock sound again for title track like they used to

@@aditbuddy593 I imagine lots of other veteran insomnias feel the same, it's just that because of how fast the fandom has grown, pre Scream insomnias are now super rare. Even titles aside a lot of the best Dreamcatcher songs are just being forgotten by the newer fandom, especially since a lot of the old concert staples like Mayday aren't being performed anymore. Also I was really hoping they would keep Over The Sky as their last song in the setlist forever, because that would justify its message so powerfully, but it's already been replaced by New Days.

I've always said that Dreamcatcher are a very lucky group - they may not have had the level of success at home that they deserve but they are doing what they love, with people they love and they know their core fanbase genuinely loves and appreciates their work and dedication to it as well as enjoying them as people. Not many of us could say the same about our jobs - and not all groups can claim to enjoy what they do as much as our seven do.

Honestly I was really scared of watching this, because they are literally everything to me. They made me emotionally and mentally stronger, without them I would've been stuck in 1 place. This was lovely kit, I definitely sobbed and I still am, I value them so much and I am so proud of them, I'm amazed by everything they do, they've come so far and 5 years is so far, my only wish for them is to always stay safe and that they're always happy together, I don't want this to end any soon. From someone who is used to anime rock sounds, I sort of crave that sound to be from a Kpop group. Since deep diving into Dreamcatcher, I thought to myself "This is it, this is the group with that perfect blend."
Their chemistry with each other is the wonderful added bonus. It is what keeping me to support them. I did things that I have never done to any other groups I've supported before.
Then discovering this channel was the cherry on the cake. You bring out the most each of the members personality in your edits. You also does it in a surprisingly fast manner that it must be out of love. So thank you Insomnicsy for this inspiring and moving content yet again.

Wow, I can't believe it's been 5 years since their debut, and I've been a fan for three of those years. It's crazy to think about it! Where did all that time go? And whilst I dwindle between being an active fan due to outside commitments, I know every single time I see their 7 faces again and hear their laughs, I'm home, happy, and don't have to worry about anything for a few moments.
Since becoming a fan, I have no more space in my heart to love other idols with, and I know that they're such a perfect, well-rounded group in their skills and team work, that no other group could nor has replaced my love for them.
Let's hope 2022 brings DC and this family a lot of positive things, and that as the world continues to notice DC, award shows will have no choice but to give them their well-deserved awards. Time to make 2022 our year to shine like never before! 💙

First of all, Happy Anniversary yall. Im so grateful being an Insomnia although its only been a year plus only. But the vibe of being an Insomnia is so different. Maybe Dreamcatcher is so different that make me feel more attached to them.
From music to members, everything just feel so wholesome. I know, we are not that huge in terms of number compared to most of the group out there. But, I did participate on voting and i can see Insomnia's spirit there, we want them to win!!!!
