It's amazing how sportbikes keep getting better and better. Just when you think they have reached their peak, the very next year or so, a new generations comes along and takes it to another level. Wow!
This bike is one of the most beatiful bikes I have seen.
I'm a big Honda VFR fan/rider and this bike would be the one and only reason to step down from that...what a georgeous machine!!
I currently own a 2007 Z1000 which i love but the wind blast you get at "higher" speeds can be a bit annoying at times!
The full fairing on this looks very good without comprimising the overall looks of the bike.can`t wait to see one in the flesh.

Personally, between this and the 650R, Kawasaki has filled a niche with respectable, user-friendly bikes that aren't all race-replicas.
Just look at their heritage. The Z1000 and the GPZ900 were both class-leading bikes at the time of their inception. The GPZ900R had great performance but user-friendly ergonomics. Kawasaki is just continuing that great 80's legacy in a modern shell with bikes like this one.

This bike just looks amazing !! Could be something to do with me being a dyed in the wool Kwacker fan...........must have been that Z1 I had in 1976 that did it !!
I bought a brand new R1 6 months ago but watching this bike makes me wanna ditch the R and hop on the Z !
Love the styling of the bike. But I think its probably too similar to what I already have. (FZ1)
I noticed the rear sets are exactly the same as mine. Must be an OEM thing. I think with some modding (full exhaust, PC5) it would be on par with a super sports. But with a more comfortable riding position

@theCAG11 Its a sports tourer like the Yamaha FZ1 (which i own and love)
I also have a 2007 Z and I don't hate the new ones by any means but I think they are getting way too far away from what most people like about the Z. I have always liked them because they are different. They don't have a bunch of unnecessary fairings, comfy, street fighter style, and a great power delivery that you don't have to stand on the throttle to get it to go. I wanted a street fighter, something way diff from zx10 zx6.

Lost the street fighter sharp look. This one here is a grandpa bike. I'm happy with my 08 Z. Wind doesn't bother me with a bit lower bar

The hell are you expecting? This isn't a damn supersport. I know it's your opinion, but it's a short-sighted one. If you want super-sport, buy a ZX10. This is for the crowd who wants high-performance in a sport-touring package. There are even factory panniers for this bike, if that clues you into its intended market.

I am sorry but this time and its the only time, KAWA has let me down! this bike should have been more aggressive and instead the end result is rubbish!(personal opinion!)
