To the people saying these dancers are doing “too much”, yall need to go watch some World of Dance or SWF videos cause your exposure to dance is so limited.

WOD and SWF dances have diff. world from idol dances

you're saying that other dances belong to the same world like ballet, ballroom and Jazz..
being in the same world means you judge all of them by the same criteria in a competition... ballet vs hiphop as example
the world of dance does not revolve around hip hop, modern and contemporary
all dances have different approach so is kpop even tho kpop isn't a type of dance the way kpop dances is choreograph need different approach than other dances
in sm there are like many demo in 1 song just like this one
I see it as choreographers shortcomings (no hate) for not considering that they are making dance for kpop... not for competition or something
some of the demo dances I saw does not match the song or its vibes at all
example (the other lifes too short demo) it's really not it
there are really few demos that really fits the song example - mina myoung psycho
@Nayeon Pop Pop is pop. The difference is that in SWF and WOD the dancers are professionals. In kpop they're not

Nice , we hv to understand n know the diff between professional dancer/choreographer n idol/singer. Dancer of cuz they can dance to it with more power n large big move n so, but singer/idol they hv to control n balance so from the choreo they tgt w choreographer will practice n find the right strength n fixed some choreo to really fit them for performing n for their style. Appreciate for the dancer's effort n idol's one
yes idols need to consider theyre actually singing, while proffesional dancer only has to dance thats why the demo choreo always different especially at solo part
One more points, the company also consider about the singer concert as well which average 2-3 hours, they can't possible to dance same power as per pro dancer. Singer need to save energy to sing, dance...and you know they not just dance 4 -5 songs, but maybe more than 8 songs since kpop group mostly is fast pop song.

Not at all. Michael Jackson or Beyoncé always danced perfectly while they were singing LIVE! Kpop idols almost always are lipsyncing, so they don't need to control anything.

That's actually how it's supposed to be. Get out if the kpop world and see professional dancers dancing. This is how the choreography is supposed to be danced. Idols font dance like this because THEY CAN'T, they don't have the ability, technique and body control required.
Go and watch Jojo Gomez, Jade Chynoweth or Bailey C dance videos. That's what a pro dancer is like
