@@raymondqiu8202 Obviously. Hes saying that because most channels stick to a niche that cater to a very specific audience. Jimmy literally does anything and everything and still pulls decent views on even the unpopular stuff. This video is a great example.
The gains are solid man, keep it up. Ngl, you got me motivated to lock back in. Summer of 2023 I was about 270 and I'm now fluctuating between 205-210. Been slacking in the gym aspect recently, but highkey this got me pumped again to go. Appreciate it man.
i've been working out since november of last year. it's been a full year at this point and I've been super non-commital, probably fell off a total of about 2 months in between on 3 separate occasions. I didn't lock in as hard as you did, nor do I have the results you have, but i'm well on my way. Thanks for the extra motivation! Would love an extended breakdown of what your workouts entail, like what exercises your Hiit and resistance sessions entail.
The videos with the girls def got me hooked, but I am so much more hyped for the gym arc since I’m also tryna get my body right. Keep it up man love it.
Jimmy, I've been a fan of your content for a really long time, I'm really excited for this fitness arc and really happy for you. Altho I advise you to be carefull with the information you portray here, you need to educate yourself on some matters, it has been widely demonstrated that failure reps are not "the ones that count", keto diets can be really prejudicial for metabolism and when you do a pre/post transformation do it in the same lighting/conditions, its way more truthfull, to us and to you. These are just some examples of what you can improve, we are all on the same journey. Have a good one!
without jimmy i really wouldn’t be who i am today. he played such a big role in my grind for self improvement. Like he inspired me to be better and now i have a 100/10 girl. Can’t wait for this new journey🔥
Proud of you man. Only thing I would say is that for most people this is probably not the best workout regimen for 99% of people. If you push every set to failure and also do high intensity cardio on your rest days you are probably not letting your body recover enough and will burn out in the long run (2 or so months). If someone wants to try his workout routine and it starts becoming too much, just replace the cardio stuff with longer walks (6-12k steps) and you will get great results for losing weight (will just take longer per day), but you will also let your body rest between workouts and you won't accumulate that much systemic fatigue. Also every set to failure can lead to same issues, so I'd recommend going all out to failure every few weeks to see how much you can lift and how failure truly feels BUT once you know that going 1 or 2 reps below failure will have a MUCH better stimulus to fatigue ratio for your muscles.
1 or 2 reps to failure is good enough or the same as failure, but you need to get very familiar with failure in the first place to be able to judge that
I was a college student who ate one meal a day at dinner n got used to it. Moved back with fam after school n decided to hit the gym n tbh eating was the hardest part to adjust cuz my body wasnt used to it but i was told i had to to fix my motabolism. one of the downsides is im shittin more at inconvenient times n its pissin me off
Jimmy, it's great to see that you are starting this journey. I have just one suggestion: I would highly recommend including more carbs in your diet, as more carbs would turn into glucose and then be stored as glycogen in your muscles. It is beneficial for high-intensity and prolonged exercise as I see you do two workouts a day with resistance training between those days. This storage would become bigger as you grow more muscle, the more stored glycogen=better performance and available energy to be used.
brother don't go on a keto diet you need carbs to help fuel your body for your workouts. more carbs = more glycogen = perform better in the gym because you have more energy
The problem with carbs is that while it does give you energy that's because your body is burning those instead of fat, so if he's trying to lose weight he should be on the keto diet if you want more energy at a workout without having a lot of carbs pre-workout works very well.
Keep in mind that it's not just how hard you push your body, but also how well you're able to recover. A large part of the results will only show after a full recovery, so make sure you're sleeping well, eating enough protein, and doing the necessary injury prevention/mobility to help avoid any injuries. You're looking great bro keep it up
havent watched jimmy in a bit, i was waiting for the comedic switch up and thought this was a character play, cause didnt knew he had this many tattoos just to look tuff. but okayy aaight my boi lock the f in and get that jin woo live actor role , Lets get it
As a skinny guy, not only is this inspiring, it’s also very informative. The edits and the commentary is very good and I can’t wait for the rest of the eps to be released.
Jimmy Zhang , The only few RUclipsrs that U can respect rn, relatable, doesn't do crypto pump , has flaws , does recommend U products that are irrelevant to the channel
Gains. I’m about how your before picture look if not a bit toner. Your method is what I think I need for the final push of the body I want. I look forward to more videos from you.
This guy's got the spirit and has made a massive improvement in his health/physique but he definitely gotta pump the brakes on giving fitness advice. Dude is talking about "fatty proteins" as if that's possible. Protein and fat are two different things. Also says he's keto and then next clip is him downing a rice bowl at chipotle loaded with carbs lmao. Study up a lil Jimmy.
I wish I had the time to hit the gym like that Busy as fuck these days. I don't have a 9 to 5 but a 5 (AM) to 9 (AM) downing coffee to stay awake until 5 and getting back up to work at 9
See, I'm a bit different. I have always been active since high school, college, and even now when I'm working. I train Muay Thai 2-3 times a week, Jiujitsu every now and then. I would say I'm lean fit (5'9 and 160lbs). The problem is I feel like I hit a ceiling I can't get pass. I like to gain muscle mass try to get actual buff, the moment I eat more, although I look bigger, I also gain more fat too.
Pull up for some vibes: discord.gg/Z2k6dJ3E2C

I love how this guy just does whatever the fuck he wants with his channel and I'm here for it
Bruh I mean it is HIS channel lmao 🤦
The support is universal
Not every channel needs to have a certain content.

Yeah the guy doesn't really know what he's talking about when it comes to fitness and the dietary portion especially.

HAHA thanks for including my progress pics at 2:28
excited to share more soon 👀
1 or 2 reps to failure is good enough or the same as failure, but you need to get very familiar with failure in the first place to be able to judge that
true, but i also heard that to failure is ideal for newbie gains but that may be because they're not fully familiar with failure too.
Hypertrophy training 💪

yep difference between looking skinny and big usually as a natty is just amount of carbs your packing.
Keep up the good work G. The real gains set in after a year.
