Hello I have a question. My vehicle is a 03 Mitsubishi Montero/Pajero with the 3.8L and 5 speed automatic. I actually drained the pan and replaced transmission filter first. Could I just slowly add Castro Multi ATF while at the same time drain the ATF out of the return line (steel pipe) until new fluid comes out?
you prolly dont care at all but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost my login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Byron Deacon i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Hello. I have a question. My vehicle is a 06 Mitsubishi Montero/Pajero with the 3.8L and 5 speed automatic. I need the corect code for transmission filter.
Hello I would like to change the fluid and filter in my pajero. Do you remember the part number of the filter please? I am not sure which one is the right one. Thanks a lot.
+Elboon Gabe My Pajero is from japan and is 2000 3.5 L automatic , transmission fluid needs replacement ,trying to figure out how many quarts I need to replace it .I am ordering the fluid on line and don't want to order less , as I have to pay shipping cost etc. . Also about the filter , I found the same filter as Yours on line , the same filter seems to be compatible with most Pajero/ Montero ( USA version ) , from 1999 -2006 , I am not sure if it will fit my car . Having hard time finding parts for Japanese Mitsubishi in the Bahamas , Most vehicles here are the US version and the parts available as well .
+Nora Stuart I bought the filter for my car by chassis number in the local car part store, and i filled in ~9,5 litre new Castrol fluid. My car is 3.2 diesel, and i'm not sure that the gasoline and the diesel models have the same transmission or not.
Castrol ATF Multivehicle is an automatic transmission fluid for use in most Japanese passenger cars which typically have higher anti-shudder performance requirements than European or US designed automatic transmissions. It was designed to meet the Japanese Automobile Standards Organisation performance needs (JASO 1A) which is recognised by most Japanese Automobile Manufacturers. When you call this Castrol fluid a "dextron type", than call a Valvoline Maxlife ATF too, because it is roughly the same. I'm very satisfied with the Castrol, i recommend to everyone.
Thank you from Puerto Rico

I did not mean castrol multi was dextron. All I said was don't use dextron and supplied other alternatives to your correct non dextron oil.......

Hi there, i drive a V60 Dakar . Europe Version. Do I refill the atf in the same tube where the dipstick goes in?
Regards
+Xadoras
There is no other option to refill the fluid, only the tube of the dipstick.
How do you fill automatic transmission with no dipstick tube
Do not use dextron fluid of any type ....MUST be sp3 like diaqueen , valvoline max life, amsol synth., miller attic sp3, Fuch Titan 4400
