I started to stop practicing parkour because I would always practice in one spot, even though I had a whole city at my disposal. After seeing this video I realized that I forgot one of the fundamental reasons for my practicing of parkour - the fact that with it I could go anywhere I wanted to - as well to use it as an escape from the streets and alleys that today's society has funneled people into. Thank you for posting this video and reminding me of the purpose of parkour.
really good video :) people who dont do freerunning and even some that do wont notice half of the tech used to do this mission. Taking yet another hat off to you phil. Great upload and an impressive run. Really liked the ending how the two people walking off will never know what phil had just achieved. Go Pro's suck for the rattling sound, but its the price we pay.
This reminds me of getting on top of the 4th Halo 2 level "Outskirts". I kept waiting for him to find that energy sword stuck in a rooftop like Excalibur.
:O can hear his heart beating so loud (understandable)....great video, just makes me want to get up on some roofs and experience training from new heights...
Parkour is great exercise for experts. It takes a fair amount of strength to do much of what he was able to accomplish. Parkour is risky by nature, but the feeling you get makes it worthwhile. I'm certain he checked the weather and prepared for this, I can guarantee he wouldn't do something like this on a windy day. This had a fair bit of planning go into it.

3:51 is when you hear the heart beat the most. He has a chest mount so it's right next to his heart, meaning it will pick up his heartbeat.
Such a pro. I couldnt ever walk on the edge even once and he does it like he is walking in the middle of a street.
