    I moved to Dallas from Los Angeles a year ago after L.A. shut down for Covid. Dallas was open for business and there was plenty of work opportunities. I settled in Uptown as the vibe felt like a mash up of Venice Beach without the beach and West Hollywood without the stars. Although this Summer I saw Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton had dinner Uptown. I also see Cowboy Icon Emmitt Smith has his place for sale along White Rock Creek across the way from Prestonwood Estates and Prestonwood Country Club.
    Frisco seems like a great area to raise a family and has direct access to Uptown and Downtown via the Dallas North Tollway. A little farther north along the Tollway, most of the new housing is being built in Prosper and Celina. To the East of Downtown, new housing is being built in Forney, which is the same distance from Downtown as Plano and less expensive also.

A lot of people reccomend Carrollton for singles and Richardson if you have kids because the school district is top notch. Plano, Frisco, Prosper, and McKinney has great restaurants and shopping and stuff but is a little out of the way... I have to say as a foreigner (UK) I’ve always fancied Florida but…I’m watching more and more videos of Dallas and have fallen in love with Texas Dallas. From the sound of things, so have Californians too right? Dallas looks far more appealing than Huston. There are far too many homeless People in Huston which is pretty shocking for a country that has the largest economy in the world.
    I love how you execute your videos, straight to the point, I absolutely love that.
    People in Dallas love their BBQs too I believe.

    • @azulaquaza4916
      @azulaquaza4916 3 года назад +1

      Both are very good to raise a family. But Dallas beats it in shear size, more to choose from and you can approach it from multiple ways. Austin is pretty segregated, traffic is a nightmare, construction will be constant, and weathers more severe, also it's still a college city so some nights can and will be rowdy if the Longhorns or Spurs win a big game or something. DFW has over 100 cities to choose from (please do not Ignore ft worth) Austin only has about 20 good sized ones all pretty pricey. Austin is definitely better educated and higher education will be supported 100%. It's also a crossroad to all of Texas since every city is within 3 hr or less drive. Dallas will require 4hrs to Houston and SA, 7 hrs to the border.

    Idk why but everywhere he went there was literally nobody outside 😳🥱😕 I’m not sure if that’s a good thing for me or uncomfortable due to the fact that I come from Chicago where everyone is outside. I plan on moving to TX preferably DALLAS, I also appreciate him hustling for the ones who needs these videos to find out what we’re up for.

    Which school districts are good in Dallas that have more Asian residence?

      Frisco, carrollton, plano

    • @jeannedeclue
      @jeannedeclue 3 года назад +2

      Irving... las colinas and far north, maybe prosper...Yeah-these are mostly urban, walkable neighborhoods in Dallas proper and Dallas County proper. I’m currently far north, relocating closer to Dallas proper-lower Greenville, uptown or Lakewood-because it fits my lifestyle better. A lot of people reccomend Addison, Carrollton for singles and Richardson if you have kids because the school district is top notch. Plano, Frisco, Prosper, and McKinney has great restaurants and shopping and stuff but is a little out of the way... Las Calinas and Irving are nice, closer to the airport but lots of Indian influence... not a fan of many other areas to keep it 100!

      Dallas - Fort Worth is definitely flat. Especially when compared to Colorado.

      You'd be shocked but the southside areas like DeSoto & Cedar Hill are very hilly. Not Colorado but I was amazed to see the rolling hills in these areas! Never knew they existed.
