  • There have been other difficult drafts to scout but this one is at the top. Let me know if you agree!

I'm trading my draft picks for future picks or current nba players. This is a rough year for talent

Keegan Murray & Jaden Ivey go FIRST in this draft? That's an insult to this year's class, and man you really don't know what you're talking about 🤦🏻‍♂️💀💀💀

Ben Simmons and Ryen Rusillo were just talking about Keegan for the first pick today on their podcast. Worth checking out. Maybe I’m crazy but I’ll take the known commodity

    Your take make me think...thanks
I am very high on Reed. to me his ceiling comp is Stockton with a bit more shooting + rebounding + D (vertical).
I see the Rockets taking Reed and mentor him under FVV plus being coached by Udoka will be a perfect fit for Reed to maximize his potential, while his growing into the Rockets' backcourt will fit the team perfectly. A win win situation.
Amen, Cam and Reed will be the Rockets future 3-guard rotation and along with Sengun will make their core of 4 for the next 15 or so years of contention.
    Your thoughts?

I don’t see the Stockton comparison that much. Reed has a quicker release on his shot but not the vision that Stockton did. He needs to work on his PnR passing game. I agree he would fit well with the Rockets and a lot of teams. He’s the best shooter in the draft and every team can use more shooting. Another good reason he’s a good fit with the Rockets is that Thompson could play point guard duties with him after Fred is gone like you said. Thompson can guard either ones or twos.

@@AttackthePaint I am comparing both of them as college players. I see a lot of similarities.
Cam and Reed on the floor works too.
I don't see any team better suited for Reed than the Rockets. FVV is a d-minded, low turnover PG and Udoka demands D out of his players. I think this will pull out the best out of Reed...making the Rockets the best fit for Reed, which no one talks about. Sure he fits every team, but no team has this mentoring/coaching situation plus two quality big guards to play along side that will protect his smaller size as a combo guard.
I hope the Rockets get him, even if it means moving up to #2 to secure him.

I agree that he’s a great fit for them. I’ll be a little surprised if Reed goes before then, but anything can happen in this draft. Reed has a solid floor. However, Rob Dillingham is higher on my big board than Reed. I would rather pick him since he has a higher ceiling but it goes back to the question of what the Rockets prefer. Higher ceiling in Rob or potentially better fit in Reed?

@@AttackthePaint robs my favorite prospect but the prospect of playing Jalen green AND rob gillingham as your potential starters defensively is..... not ideal lmfao. Reed slots in better as a plug and play shooter better imo. I like robs fit on the spurs.

I agree. Reed is a better fit for the Rockets. Rob has All Star talent though and I don’t think Reed does. I might be wrong about that. I think I would rather gamble on the higher potential but I wouldn’t hate on taking the safer route and going with the better fit
