Always slide it into place from the side when changing the dials(like the woman does). Avoid it pushing it from the top because after some time it can lead to vertical "engraved paths" from the bearing. You don't have to apply nearly as much force when sliding in the face from the side.

I cringed like hearing nails on a chalkboard every time he did that.
I had to hug my duoface steel reverso and tell it I would never abuse it like that ever. and whats bad is he did this on gold, and thats so much softer then steel. no no no to people closeing the reverse mechanics like that.
Brother, you don't slide it all the way out then reverse shut it. You slide it out leave some space, reverse, then slide back in. Otherwise, there's a higher chance of it breaking easily.
well probably not break but the reason why most people would slide it out and snap it from the sides instead of snapping it from the front is because over time there would be marks and way more obvious if snapping from the front.

yea I was twisting and turning in my seat every time he snap-shut close the case. You are supposed to only pull halfway out and slide horizontally from its side.

I once went to a JLC AD to see what they had Reverso duoface watches. They had 15 in stock with no wait lists in those days. The Reverso is my favorite watch in the JLC line.
I do genuinely think the chrono is one of the most amazing mechanical devices I’ve ever set eyes on that I could plausibly one day own. 👀
I hate to be the one guy amongst all this positive feedback but please slide the reverso from the side, like she did, do not shut it from the top.

The presenter at the store is terrific. I truly can't stand the new fagliano straps but man do I love these in rose gold. That chronograph. Wow. This is how I like my watch videos presented. Please more like this.

Great vid, but please slide the case back in place from the side and not from above.
Beautiful watches but there is a right and wrong way to turn a Reverso. Watch how the lady does it near the start of the video 1:32. She turns the case and then slides it home. She was obviously too polite to correct you. Your way will result in wear to the front case of the watch over time. 😉
She knows her stuff. Impressive.
When flipping the Reverso, always push it sideways. Made me cringe every time you pushed it frontally

As a reverso owner I just want to say watching you snap the case like that multiple times was acutally painful. Also watching the rep smack the buckle of the first watch on the table case was big sad. Those poor watches deserved to be treated far better than they were.

Awesome video! Kate is so sweet. Btw not sure if you are reversing the watches the right way, normally I see people sliding it, then reverse it, and sliding it back. The way it snaps in the video worries me a bit 😅 Cheers!
Apparently clicking it in from the side prevents scratches on the front/brackets of the watch. But having seen the Reversos from owners that click in from the top and not having any indentations I would assume it doesn't matter how you flip it - it's all ok

Awesome watches. Thank you for sharing. But I cringed everytime you flipped the watch, because you should not push it back from the front but rather slide it from the side, as the roller balls can damage the front of the case.

Stainless DUO skeleton with blue dial is my favorite.
At 11:10. There should be a sample made of these Reverso watch sounds to use in a variety of settings. Really good square faced watches are hard to find. JLC makes the best ones.

I really like the Reverso line, but for the price point they’re asking, it should have a deployment buckle. There’s watches under 1K that offer a deployment, there should be no excuse here
According to the JLC website they’re supplied on a deployment buckle, and comes with a secondary watch strap with pin buckle so you can choose which to use, I can only assume they are on pin buckle straps for the sole purpose of laying the watches flat for display.

Nice models but when you take a closer look at them :
. No deploying clasp on new gold models when all steel one get it.
. The chronograph model : you pay 24.000,00€ for a manual winding model without even seconds.
All of this makes me think JLC doesn’t care about customers (nor concurrents : take a look at the new 1908 perpetual Rolex model which is a dress watch with automatic movement, golden deploying clasp and less expensive).

I really don’t understand why people go crazy about Rolex releases the same watch with a new dial colour. JLC does a way better job IMHO!
Do you know whether the leather/canvas-straps are available separately again? I tried to get one for my Reverso a few years ago but Wempe couldn’t get one for me. It was a boutique only strap.

I tried on the gold black dial. Looked great but 22k for this gold watch with a simple movement is a tough sell. I love the steel chronograph too but I think it’s a bit too big!
I know very little about watches and I have a question. I have seen other reverso watches. I think they were also from Jaeger. The other watches had something else to see when you reversed them. What is the purpose of the watch being reversible if there is nothing else to see?
Basically, they brought out the affordable Monofaces and really high-end Duofaces and nothing in between. I want a new steel Duoface but I guess I'll have to wait.
