I've always loved Terre D'hermes on my husband. The Parfum is also good but a bit more mature smelling than the original. He also recently purchased H24 which is also very nice. Looking forward to smelling this Eau Givree. Thanks Dan.
ETF is one of my most favorite hot weather scents. Sad that they've discontinued it now, but we'll see, if the replacement is this good I might have the urge in getting a sample soon!
Think i'm going to try this one out. Nice first impression vid! Btw: Dior Eau Sauvage Cologne is also a nice bright fresh bitter citrus summerfragrance.
Another great intro Dan ! Some interesting picks there-I enjoy most of those.. My Bon Viveur is getting plenty of use in the warm Canadian weather we're getting here lately..
Sorry posted this is wrong place! I've had this a couple of days - great review, especially covering how fresh it is. There's a hint of the original TdH when you get a couple of hours in, but it's very much its own fragrance. Christine Nagel is good with citrus I think: Hermes Eau de Citron Noir and Lalique White are both nice lemon forward fragrances by her. Nice to see some new stuff on the channel Dan!
I loved this one, last all day on me in the moderate temperatures of sweden, similar to where you are, very natural smell, nice depth still, both opening and dry down is great!
Great review Dan, want to get this but it will have to wait until I have a few spare pounds. I have all the other Terre D’Hermes frags. Shame about the Eau Trais Fraiche being discontinued but this sounds like a good replacement. Great first impressions and overview.🙏🏻👍🏻
I tried this a couple of weeks ago in the Gallerie Lafayette in Nice ,I thought it was great for the warm weather as it is intended but I am not sure I'll get it as I have a lot of the EDT which is one of my all-time favourites
How can I increase projection of fragrances? I spray all of my fragrances (most are EDP or parfum concentrations) 6 inches from my skin, which leaves an oily sheen for awhile, but doesn’t project that much. Tried today with Le Male edt, with same result?! What am I doing wrong?
Hi, Alot of edp and parfum concentrations have milder projection but last longer on skin. At the same time there are alot of edt concentrations that do the same thing nowadays. A really good performing edt should project for a while. But it can also have something to do with your skin chemistry. My mom has the same thing, nothing really projects on her skin accept (heavy) floral bombs.
@@nv5857 How can I increase projection of fragrances? I have heard ppl suggest moisturizing the skin before fragrance application, unfortunately this seems to help more with longevity than projection?! Any suggestions?
@@RobertLaTuso I think spraying all pulse points will help. And a few in your hair should leave a trail as well. But increasing projection of a fragrance can't always be done. There are more factors to that. Season, outside temperatures, and the perfume itself. Maybe the creator of the perfume never had the intentions to make it project heavily. Some perfumes just don't project. It also depends on what you expect from a perfume. 8 to 10 hours of real projection does not happen that much. And it also depends in which climate you live.
All new releases; Full shit as bull shit! Admit it, all you fragrance tubers! Today's fragrance releases are pure water compared to the releases of the earlier decades!!! And that's the plain truth! So no use of giving any opinions of these "fragrances" of today anymore! Projection zero, longevity zero, power less than electric batteries after then years cycling!

Wearing the original EDT today after a year of hiatus; wow, what an absolute banger. Can't wait to try this new release.
I got this yesterday (100ml) and I'm spraying it around so much it's already got a dent! I love this one! 🤩

@@nv5857 exactly, the eau sauvage. At least when I do a Dior search from Southern USA it doesn’t come up😏

As you say the original is a masterpiece. I will definitely be trying this one this weekend. Thanks Dan ☺️

I am going to try to get a decant or test this in the store, especially for the citrus opening.

Thanks for the code, Dan - I just ordered both scents!
Grab that discount guys. Although it’s worth the full price!! Excellent fragrance

Lol Sammy "the Bull" Gravano reference is hilarious.
Thank you Dominik!
Which ingredient would that be? If you're referring to lilial, it's actually now considered toxic, not just an allergen.
Sounds nice! Love TDH but it's nice to see them take the flanker in a different direction.
Thank you !
Thanks Dan! Sounds like a better flanker than Habit Rouge L'Instinct atm. Any plans on giving us your thoughts on that one?
Great review Mr Smelly 👏👏👏
Love your videos MrSmelly, BUT WHY WON’T YOU FILM IN 4K!?
Great video as always brother. And of the course the intro alone always worth the price of admission!😂
Thank you so much Mr Mike !!
Excellent episode mi amigo!
The dry down is lovely👃👌😃
I’d love to see your review of this new TDH flanker.
Don’t mind me I’m just here to watch the video and read the comments

Hey Dan where do you buy your busts and statues?
Wait, you mean eau tres fraishe is gonna be discontinued?
So not so much in the vein of the original Terre de Hermes, but more so follows the trend of fragrances similar to D&G Forever / Italian Love ??
Yeah, looks like it. Better to stock up the discontinued one.
Timur is Szechuan pepper
Great first impressions video and I enjoyed it and can you do a full review when you test it out and have a blessed day
Eau Tres Fraiche was ruined by that cumin note, I hope Eau Givree is better 😩
A definite blind buy if you love citrusy fresh?
I would try it if at all possible. It’s definitely good.
