Thank you for this video! You answer a lot of questions I’ve had. I have had an Epson WF 7710 since December 2018 and recently it stopped printing black. I was using the continuous ink system but not printing a whole lot. Can that be fixed? It also shows that the maintenance box is almost full.

@@jstewartslaboratory what about warranty if you use no epson inks? Is there any reason why piezo heads would not be compatible for suplimation? Thank you.

Thank you and yes printers are hard to find since Covid. I really suggest stalking your stores. A lot of times they say outta stock online but are actually in stock.
I was having a hard time finding a printer too Brittany Brittany. Been looking for months but I found mine online at Sams! Literally purchased it and it was ready to pick up the next day!
They’re are many things you can do sublimation with. Tshirts, mugs, passport covers, etc. So items that can be subbed on are referred to as blanks or sublimation blanks.
Shanelle Harris i agree with the 15x15. I’m just starting and I have a 5 in 1 12x15 and can already see the limitations. I have to rotate the shirt and designs sometimes. That cause me to misalign the image , and it come out crooked sometimes. So definitely save the stress, and T-shirt’s, and save for a bigger press. As for the printer I use a 7210. I got for under 2, and it definitely works well. Just make sure you get good ink. I see a lot of people I study using cosmos. I bought a different brand off amazon. It work, but I feel like the colors can be brighter. I was originally just gonna swap ink, but after hearing what she said about the percentage of polyester, I’m definitely gonna look at my shirts more thoroughly to see if that may be the issue. Just gone give you a heads up because I’m new to this, and not one video showed the behind the scenes hardships, and frustrations to the whole process. So just expect a lot of redos when you start, unless you’re just that good lol. I know you didn’t ask me, but I hope this info that I’ve learned helps you along with your journey. 🙏🏾 ❤️
Thank you for this video, I’m new with sublimation and is a big help. Thank you for your help
Hi. I’m so glad this video helped. You may be using too much pressure or you may need to get a heat gun. Sometimes your press says one thing, but it’s really something else. A heat gun will tell you what temp it’s really at.

LuckyBird Boutique Blanks :D

Thank you and do you know can I do work with printer hp smart 8725 ?for print transfer paper?
Since I can’t convert my printer to sublimation printer can I just buy one if one? If so what kind or the name I should buy
If the printer that you have doesn’t convert you can use a Epson 7720. I have an EPSON 7710 but I don’t think they are making them anymore.😁
When you said what you need for sublimation what do you mean by blanks the t shirt

Would I be able to do sublimation on safety green shirts or vests ?

Can you use a regular iron for sublimation?
No
YESSSSS Black Crafter
AAYYYEEE LOL
I sublimated my Epson 2540 as well.
Thank you for that info.
Can I use an iron instead of a heat press
Can I use my easy press for sublimation
Can you buy a printer already set up? Is it cheaper to go in that route?
If not is it hard to transfer your printer to sub?
It’s not hard at all. You really just switch the ink. I have a video on that. Saw grass printers are ready made for sublimation. They began at $500.
Would parchment paper work as well as butcher paper
No. The ink can bleed through.
Thank you
Hi,
I'm sorry if this question has been asked. Do all of the printers listed have to be converted or are some of them sublimation ready? Thank you!
Hey. The ones listed have to be converted. If you want a sublimation ready one you’ll need a sawgrass.

Thank you for the wonderful information. I have 1 question. What is the reccomended size heat press for sublimation?
You’re so welcome. I suggest a 16x24 if you can afford it. If not nothing less then a15x15.
Which Epsom printer would you highly recommend for sublimations?
Shanelle Harris i agree with the 15x15. I’m just starting and I have a 5 in 1 12x15 and can already see the limitations. I have to rotate the shirt and designs sometimes. Can you use the cricut press?
No
Yes. Just make sure you put parchment paper or something like that to protect your heat press from the sub ink. I use my easy press all the time
So if my image is a svg do I need to convert to png first? If so do youhave a site you recommend
No you can use Svgs.
Have you got a sublimation printer
is a epson C88+ printer a sublimation printeer
If I bought a new printer and its still in the box do I have to convert it? Can I just go straight to using sublimation ink and paper in it?
