Awesome score. Good comparison with the older GPXs, they suck on specimen gold in comparison to the mighty Zed. Even the SDC gets weighty specimens that the older GPXs can't hear. I have had the exact same experience. The Z goes deeper than the 6000 on specimens as well. I have dug up deep specimens with the Z and pinpointed them with the SDC just like you did in this video. Good luck I hope you fill your jars with these record gold prices. It's certainly our time to shine after years of training. Yeah it's a bit harder now but the rewards are better then ever

Yeah, the 7000 is a beast when it comes to big gold and deep targets! It has paid for itself several times over. These days, the 6000 gets more work, but the seven is always handy with the 19" coil on to go back over deep ground.
Thanks for reaching out. May all your holes be gold!

Hello, please tell me what the coils are wound with.

G'day. We wind tape around the outside of the coil to keep the skid plate on, and prevent dirt getting between the coil and skid plate. The SDC2300 had a make shift fix to keep a badly worn out skid plate on until we could get back to civilization to buy a new one. It's not pretty, but it worked.
