My bandmates and I played here many times, and every time talked about how incredible it was that Nirvana and so many other artists had played the same stage over the decades. And to honor Nirvana, nobody showed up to many of our shows, either.

I consider myself a pretty big Nirvana fanatic. But this channel consistently delivers bits of information or details I was unaware of. As always, great work, Daniel. Thanks for being a legit Nirvana fanatic and bringing us excellent content.

I was there, it was loud almost to loud. Novoselic is a nice guy and we were both in the Painters Union. He lived on North Defiance in Tacoma and I was a Seattle guy. We worked on some of the same jobs. Saw them at the Vogue and the OK too.

I've played on that stage many times and every time I would think "fucking Nirvana played on this stage". It was kinda surreal.

I saw Nirvana when I was a student at the UW in '88. I don't remember if they were in the student union bldg or a cafeteria. I left after 2-3 songs. I thought it was noise. A few yrs later I re-discovered them and became a huge fan

Thank you for referencing the actual authorized biography by Michael Azzerad and not the word vomit Courtney concoction that is "Heavier than Heaven."

Is Heavier than Heaven really that bad? Is it loaded with inaccuracies??

If you would've walked around the block on the other side, the south side you would've then been at the OK Hotel, where they performed Smells Like Teen Spirit for the first time.

Totally you’d never hear super early nirvana and think they were gonna be big. Maybe in a underground punk scene.
The nevermind record forced them to clean up there style so much and make great hooks rather than chaotic jams or loud noisy songs they had before.
I try to tell people about my fretboard invention like nirvana did in the pro studio. Take it on the studio with good producer with a good band and we can truly see what full ability it has.

You are moron if you think the "BLEACH" album is just "loud, noisy, chaotic" songs. They were also at their best live from 88-through late 90.
