While yes it's sad it does make sense, prior to the release of Bayonetta 3, Jeanne would be slightly different from bayonetta, Jeanne and Bayonetta are technically like Lucas and Ness, similar but different. Bayonetta in Smash Bros, has the Love is Blue moveset for her Forward Air Combo, Neutral Combo, and Side Tilt Combo. Even when you use Bayonetta's 1 alt, she still uses the LiB moveset but with the Scarborough Fair and with red textures instead of blue. if Jeanne were in this she would need the Scarborough Fair moveset since that's what her moveset is in the games prior to 3. Jeanne always used the Scarborough Fair moveset when you play with her with the All 4 One guns. Not only that But Jeanne doesn't get Witch time the same way Bayonetta did in the of games as well. So they'd also have to change it to where you'd only be able to activate Witch Time via Moth Within. So they'd have to change Bayonetta's FAir Combo, Tilt Combo, and Her Neutral Combo along with the way her Down B works.
@@FurryBayo The way smash's echo fighters works has really overcomplicated adding side characters at this point. They could literally just have jeanne be her eighth skin like how bowser jr has all the koopalings as skins
