I found the discussion about reading speed fascinating. Speed doesn’t necessarily affect comprehension. But I wonder if the time you spend with a book makes a difference - reading 50 pages over 4 days versus reading 200 pages in 1 day. I seem to recall @rororeads discussing his reading of Stoneyard Devotional over a few days due to time constraints and wondering if that affected his appreciation of the book. Even when we're not actively reading, the book sits with us from the time we start until we're done.
Ahh bummed I missed this live. Love to see you’ve had RoRo visit. He’s one of my favorite reviewers.
He’s awesome!! I’m so chuffed he agreed to come on and talk to us 🤩

That’s a really good point. I tend to prefer longer books and long series and I think it’s because I spend so much more time with the characters.
Andy, when I was on live earlier, I had a brain fart. And couldn't remember your name AND I missed this intro. All I can say is I'm 74. 😘
Also, I ordered The Blade Itself.
Yay for The Blade Itself!! 🥳
I enjoyed Held. Roro - there are a few of us.
A very exclusive club 😂 saying that I’m picking up my hold from the library today, so you never know, I might agree… 🤔
I liked Held a lot more than Orbital and Headshot also.
Ooo - that’s interesting
I ordered The Blade Itself. 🤞
Woohoo 🥳
