This is one of the best video I have watched lately, the way that you have interacted have let me taken it as a model in my English classes. I have also put in practice with my kids at home. Go ahead this way. Greetings from Valledupar Colombia.
Xie xie! Great review and very important for beginners It covers a lot of material that I learned in frontal class But now I learned much more Thank you Mm
RUclips recommended this video to me. I thought it would be a bit too easy for me, so I wasn't going to watch it, but I watched it, and I'm glad I did, because I learned some new vocabulary. I then watched several of your other videos, too, and just like this video, you do a really great job of filling in holes in my vocabulary. Thank you for the excellent content and I hope you get a lot more subscribers.
Thank you so much for supporting me! I really appreciate you! I would love to activate the "Thanks" button, but looks like I will need more watch hours to qualify to have that feature. Please continue watch and share my videos! 谢谢你!

Under the mouth radical sentences - you said “your dog bit me” but wrote 我的狗咬我”. No big deal for me but may confuse some beginners. Excellent video 太好了❤
I've seen some people add links to files below the video tutorials. Otherwise, it can be shared individually with people who request it. Keep up the great job!

Hi, many thanks for your very helpful video. Just to let you know there’s an error on the last chapter. On the top right, for the short form of the “soil” radical, the short form of “roof” radical is shown.
谢谢你!Thank you so much! I'm not sure I got what you were trying to say. But I appreciate the kindness. On the top right, it's 艹, this is the grass radical. 宀 is the roof radical and 土 is the soil radical.
Many thanks for your reply and my apologies for not being clear enough in my comment. What I meant to say is that if you look at section 15 of your video (from 22:53 to 24:14), on the top right corner of the video, it shows 土 ➡️ 宀 implying that the short form of the radical 土 is 宀. This is obviously not the case as all the examples on the page show.
@@alyparvine6251 OMG, I got what you are saying and you are correct!! I did not even realize that mistake until you pointed it out! Thank you so so much for taking your time writing the comments and letting me know!! You are first one pointed out!! Big Thanks!

Ok, biggest question. The water radical and the way it applies the meaning of water to the character is sensible to me, but why in the world does 水 mean water without using the water radical at all?
What a great question. I think 水 is a single character and it does not need a radical. A lot of the most fundamental characters like 水,火,人,日,月,山.........are all single characters. And they can all be a radical too. They will indicate the meaning of the character especially comes to 会意字Associative characters, 形声字Pictophonetic characters. I hope this is helpful for you!
@@SoEasyChinese 谢谢老师。It was helpful to me. It would still make more sense to my non-chinese mind if the second stroke of 水 was the sandianshui, but I knew there would be things about Chinese that wouldn't feel logical to me, but works just fine. 我会继续学习汉语!

ths same problem always.you said as rule 3 dot means water many words have three dot but has nothing to do with water like mei, means not. or fa means frensh.or jian means gradual,,,,,,there are alot whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyy please
What an amazing question! I bet you guys are so confused! let's use 没 for example. Originally 没(mò) meant “to retrieve something out of water”, which then became “to sink”, which then became 没( méi )“to not have”. So, this character has two different pronunciations!
As for character 渐,金文=(水,河水)+(斩,切分),造字本义:多步骤分流治水。It originally means use multiple steps gradually regulate the water amount from the main river. Later, became "gradual". So, yes, they all have the three doc water radical, hope this is helpful for you!
