I’ve been binging your videos 😂.. I’m Colombian American but I lived in Pereira for a part of my life, my husband is Vietnamese (from LA) he has yet to visit Colombia. It’s been so refreshing to watch your videos, love your perspective on so many topics & your view as an Asian. Thanks for sharing!
I’m so happy for you Wes! Manizales is so beautiful, I want to live there at some point of my life and I’m so happy that you made the decision 💖 I will definitely visit you some day!!
Planning a trip to Manizales and Medellin this year. Wondering how will be my experience since I’m vegan haha but happy to hear there are options in Manizales 🙌🏽
Ahhh, SF vibes haha. I honestly like it when you talk from different places on the same topic. Definitely good choice to move to a place with better air quality and cheaper price (of course)
Sorry Wes maybe a bit late but I give a small birthday party today in envigado so if you want to come you are welcome, I am here with my new colombian friends near the Bibliotheca
I’m Chinese also and visited Medellin and Cartagena last year. Amazing city but very humid and hot. How are you wearing jackets and hoodies outdoors bro? Lol
Thanks for the video. I'm an American that has retired to the Philippines. I'm 53 and on a small retirement. The covid restrictions are out of control here and corruption has set in. Do you recommend Manizales as a place to move too? Thanks, great video
@@ILikeCallOfDuty123 In Manizales younger people like are most likely to speak english. There are not tension with riots in Manizales, that's not common in this City. However, I highly recommend Manizales, is a healthy and friendly city and if you get bored, you can visit Pereira (a bigger city) 1 hour ago or Armenia, a touristic city 2 hours ago. If you come here please learn some spanish, you ll not regret living here.
NEW SUB! thanks for the power of your documenting , i just turned 25 and am moving to MDN colombia late fall 21’ Your videos have been outstanding help glad to be apart of the early journey . Excited to see this life sized chess move play out in reality. Do you have IG or email would love to build with you or consult .?!
Hey Wes, thinking of coming down to Medellin to spend a month there. The AirBnB’s seem a bit pricey and most of them are not verified. I’ve heard of AirBnB scams over there which got me worried. Any advice?
nah I think Airbnb is fine, I haven't had any issues though I haven't used it in Medellin. If you want convenience, just do Airbnb or Homestay.com I have a place in mind if you don't mind living with other people.
Any chance you can visit Cali? That’s my city I know it has issues but it has great things and I’ve not been there in like 12 yrs so am planning to go soon but I would love to see a video of yours from Cali or maybe another one with parts of el valle del Cauca? just a thought thanks
Thanks for the video, Medellin is the second largest city in Colombia, manizales is a town, If you don't want to live in Medellin ,we also have smaller cities where things are cheaper and you can breath fresh air like sabaneta. 👍
You compared women in Medellin to the women in Los Angeles, Cali. What keeps you in Colombia? It seems where ever a man travels women will still be the same like in America. Am I wrong in my understanding? Or do Colombian women still out rank American women?
no I think Medellín is a very specific outlier because it is so heavily influenced by the US. it's very different than the other cities of Colombia, especially Manizales. i would still pick Medellín over LA but Colombian culture and the people are the best that I've seen. Those are the things that keep me here. Colombian women still outrank American women in looks and feminity hands down.
Colombian women are better looking than American women on average, and you run into attractive girls all the time. I'm from Miami which is known for being a city with better looking people, but Medellin is on a whole other level. Can't walk through a mall without cranking your neck every couple minutes.
@@WheresWes I don't like Poblado because of all the hills and it is very turistic and expensive. I prefer the more local areas like Floresta, Estadio, Laureles, Colores, Velodromo (obviously not all parts of the areas I mentioned are great). However, it is a more local feel. Good luck in Manizales. Looking forward to more information about Manizales.
i love a natural curvy body..... if she has curves and not a little stomach or natural fat shes a unicorn or an android...... you would eat your food modified like that so why your women!!!! just keeping it real

Have you been to Bucaramanga and if so, how does it compare to Pereira and Manizales? Or anyone else been to all three?
Truly enjoyed the review of Manizales
All love bro
OMG Manizales is great place, GREAT coffee , nice people , good food. Go to el EJE CAFETERO
I enjoy your videos. I also love visiting colombia but mostly medellin but I do want to visit manizales...have you seen any english speaking girls?
very very few.
I have heard Manizales is a university town, and very quiet and conservative. Pereira is seems to be more industrial and raw.
that is correct yes
That really looks beautiful!!

@@WheresWes thanks for the reply. No Spanish at all. Hows the tensions with riots etc. I just watched your most recent video.
