My grandpa passed away a week ago and this was sung as a congregational song at the funeral. He was the song leader at his church (which was a small Old Regular Baptist church) and the last time I went to church with my grandparents there 2 weeks ago he lead this song and listening to this makes me hear his voice and picture the church, both from the funeral and the last sunday I ever heard him sing. But I know he's with Jesus now so this is such an amazing song because Jesus IS coming soon!

I remember watching Oak Ridge Boys with my Grammie in the 80s/90s; one of her favorites! She is now with the Lord. I miss her a lot. She was a God-fearing woman, and planted the seed of faith in me when I was just a toddler. So grateful for her and can’t wait to see her again when the trumpet sounds! Love you, brothers & sisters! I don't think they left country music. I remember as a very young person when they were exclusively gospel but changed to Country Music. They went where the money was but still included a few gospel songs.
