Kakarot, FighterZ, Fusions and Heroes were all good games but they weren't like what we saw in this game and BT3. Then there were plenty of Dragon Ball games that were deemed mid or just bad by fans like Ultimate Tenkaichi, Battle of Z, and the Xenoverse series, which while very popular and successful, aged terribly in my opinion.

2 mostly since the online on there is more active then 1 but for actual story covering dbz Story definitely raging blast 1 since 2 has no story
