    I tried using black powder on the striped dress and it performed well. Using the white powder still sees the stripes of the dress on the pattern, but the black powder will not let the stripes of the dress be shown on the pattern.

    Hello Angie, I’m a little confused. It seems like you put the power on the back of the image instead of the front (on top) of the image. If you are placing the powder on the back of the image is the image mirror? Do you mirror in both Cricut and the sublimation printer of just the sublimation printer only. I tried the white power but placed the power on top of the image. Also what’s best for the second press…. Teflon sheet or parchment paper. Thank you for your time and your teaching.

      I could be wrong, but I think it is because she is using a DTF printer. 🤷‍♀

      I have a DTF printer, and the software with it does auto mirror. It must be mirrored. The powder goes on the side it's printed on. You add it to the back side, not the shiny side. It must be powdered quickly after print, so it will stick to the wet ink.Hope that helps.

      Using a dark shirt I don't mirror only on white.I got the black powder I'll let y'all know how it goes.

    i have the sawgrass sg 500 and a cricut explore 3. i noticed the back of the image on the paper was white where u poured the powder on. how did u get the back to be white like that?

      She's using a dtf (direct to film) printer, which has white ink.

    For your prints how did you print them? Did you use sublimation printer or inkjet on dts transfer film? I did not see you powder the ink to cure but you powdered the back. Maybe I missed a step

    I’m glad I ran across your video, do you have to trim or cut out or did your image print out already cut around the edges. Or with dtf you don’t have to worry about cutting

    How did you do that on a black shirt when i try it comes out so dark like black even if the image in bright. What am I doing wrong or what do you use to do this on black shirts??

      I have the same question using the black powder which I know you did a video on this with a dinosaur. Do you have an actual DTF printer now.? Because I know you were talking about getting one which means you’re not using sublimation

    Why are you applying the powder to the adhesive side rather than the inked side as seen in numerous tutorials for dtf applications?

      You don't have to flip when using dark shirts so the powder goes on the back,That's what I think. I had the same question

    Did you use a regular color sublimation match for this, I noticed the pattern is completely white when taken out. Just trying to learn the correct steps for this process. I was told I need a specific printer that prints white ink.

      This process is DTF. And yes you need a Dtf printer to do it.

      You can also do using a sublimation printer with the same steps, and it comes out just like using an dtf printer. The images last with washes as well.

      the powder is the adhesive that makes the ink stick to the cotton fiber so that it lasts.

    Hello , what software are you using ? I am having issues with my prints coming out with not enough white on top of the image although I have selected 100% white. I use RIP ver 10.01 . Have you encounter this issue ? Could you do a video of what software you use and the settings that you utilize pleaseee 🙏

      She has an actual dft printer as opposed to a sublimation printer. Dft prints a layer of white on the back of the image. That is why she's able to put it on black without having to add a base layer of white vinyl to the shirt first.
