This song was out when I met the love of my life my beautiful wife , 30 years ago this month and we are still going strong ♥️ love this performance love it
Marcella Levy can STILL hit the high notes, including the parts where it sounds like her voice is breaking up, and then goes even higher! Don't know how TF she does that!! NONE of the cover-singers can do that, autotune or not! Did you know she co-wrote Eric "Slowhand" Claptons hit, "Lay down Sally", back in 1977?!! What a voice! What a great song!!
A lot of people probably don't know that Marcella was already 40 years old in 1992 when the song was first released. She looked a lot younger on the official video.
Sorry about your nan. When this song came out in the early 90s I worked with a bloke who married a girl who I knew as she lived down my road and I used to hang about with her older brother in the late 70s. We went to their wedding. Unfortunately she was killed in a car crash not long after the wedding on her way to work and this song always reminds me of her.
@@TheXlen So you can hear the audio quality isn’t on par with a studio version and this was probably recorded on a phone and the mixing is off? And you obviously know that Marcy still works as a highly sought after vocal coach?
@@stevemrmusic9-zs7zs Yeah and I can also hear how the voice has trembling and other small details that comes with age, I'm not saying that they are bad, I am saying that sadly their youth has passed, I'm still glad they can perform on stage a lot of musicians in their late life can't
@@TheXlen I think what you’re trying to say isn’t in the great spirit of a duo getting back together and singing together after 28 years. There are huge positives to focus on here. This is a bare vocal track with no pre recorded vocal dubs on a backing track or session singers singing with them which was on the studio recording. This is a stellar recording. Of course there is trembling in March’s voice. It’s always been a dear song to her . She Co wrote it and it’s about saving someone you love and not wanting them to die, when death is iminent. That’s why there’s vulnerability in the vocal and imperfection in the vocal. If you want to hear a perfect rendition , then the studio version is out there. This bare version , recorded on a phone with poor audio quality is also here and shows the true emotional live interpretation of the song which given the nature of the lyric, would be sang differently by Marcy each time in a live performance as she is channeling the emotion of the song and there are no two live versions out there where she sings it the same.
You wouldn't believe they're 61 and 67 years old. Amazing.
71 and 67 aren't they
Сложно отрицать, что голос уже совсем не тот, что 20-ь лет назад. Марсель уже совсем не вытягивает высокие ноты.
There still beautiful & that lovely voice hasn't changed at all Rock On Shakespear Sisters 🎤🎸🎹🥁❤️👍
You would
Real Horrorshow.@@user-zi5wy3nk7o
how can these two beautiful women sound just as good as the day they made this song? like a fine wine.

You do know it's a song about a toxic relationship?
No autotuned, no lip syncing.....And still takes me back to the early 90's
... and they're not half-naked neither, nor twerking :)
Classy, talented musicians as it should be!
Studio versions are better. 'Sacred Heart' etc.
@@Stiffd1 You can not see this is not a profesional recording ....?
@@romulusbuta9318 Yes I know Studio - Super Edit! But yes. Live..well if you prefer it and high price?
In my book these girls are the hottest! and always will. Thank you for such a beautiful talent.
Siobhan you still got it. Still got it…!
Oh yes!! ❤
They sound great. And Siobhan looks amazing.
Endearing tune, a pure retro classic , quality.
Marcella’s voice is beautifull, but the part of Sobhian is magician emotional they both are GODDESSES!!!
The voice has become cruel. But that's because of her age; she is almost 70 years old ...
@@fleetwoodmac1745 There's some diminished quality to be honest. Like less diction or holding of a sound... note, you know what I mean.
Great band. I love this song. The original video is awesome. One of my best music memories from my younger days.
Mine too !
I remember seeing that video for the very first time and I was absolutely fascinated !
Love this song, so touching 😘
This will never get old, and this song will never be replicated by anyone else ever again..!

Pur Chef d'Œuvre du Rock Anglais ---Sublime et Magnifique Message .
They are just amazing. Started listening in the late 90ies.
After all these years Siobhan and Marcella show what it is to be true rock stars thus was awesome 👏
WOW. . Just amazing.
Remember the good old times. These are real performance artists. Thanks for all the great memories.
This is exquisitely beautiful...
Damn, Siobhan is still very attractive.
Sing on, sweetie, we all got old. Old man still has some chops. Carry on, and go brightly.
Marcella Detroit - absolute perfect 10!!
I love these women, both truely amazing artists together they are phenomenal.
I love these two so much OMG 😩🖤🖤
Still fancy Siobhan Fahey!!!!!!!
Join the club !
Siobhan is a siren here in my opinion.
Hope and Pray they'd be back some day to our own world
the latter delivers a wiccan good performance.
Siobhan would of made an awesome cast member in the lost boys....... shes still smoking hot for 62............

This song remains me of my nan who has passed away

Es una alegría verlas juntas otra vez, las esperamos en Argentina
About time egos mended
That's proper singing at its best.
Magic!

At Oval Hall/City Hall
@@mikedevery Okay, thanks Mike.
nice very nice! but i think Siobhan miss marisa detroit
Stay with me !!! Stay with me!!!! Own world .....lalalalalalalala!!!
When I thought she couldn't hit that high note again, at 2:59 she proved me wrong.
she still sounds like Siouxsie Sioux a bit
Opera version! 😒
Bit quiet
Too right! Power chords are missing and the vox are seriously missing. That’s issue of going live after 20 or so years..
Хватит идите спать
It's absolutely fantastic that they are still on stage at their age, but sadly time has left a huge impact on their voices
Do you realise how ltotal live performances vary from studio recordings? This is a highly unique individual performance. That audience were lucky.❤
@@stevemrmusic9-zs7zs I'm a semi professional musician, so let's just say that I understand a thing or two ✌️
