The musicians and background vocalists are TOP NOTCH and you can see them absolutely loving life jamming with her. If you want to see some of her more recent clips, she did a birthday celebration where she sang her new album (Chemistry). Search for "Live at the Belasco Theater". You'll also see a lot of recent videos cuz she just did a 10-day residency in Vegas and those are great but they're fan vids so sometimes the audio/visual is shaky. The Belasco gig was done a little more professionally (they had the audience lock up their phones but then they gave a select few cameras to record so it's super clear.) I love another of her live performances from back in the since u been gone days called Walk Away on CD USA or something similar to that. It was a direct tv thing and I had it tevo’d and would watch it over and over. She has that rock thing going in it but she is a performer!

She has had so many ups and downs in her life, and her music chronicles her journey. She's so talented.

I feel kind of bad for Kelly. Her Dad left when she was a kid. She won American Idol when she was really young, so they basically owned her for years through the recording contracts. Then, she finally finds love, has a baby with him, and then he cheats and they get divorced. I know that both sides bear some responsibility in those situations, but still. The fact that she is able to do what she does in spite of her personal life is quite amazing.
