@@happygoluckytravel we were on a cruise that made a stop there, 30ish years ago. It was a bit snobbish for us. They told us no jeans or shorts if we wanted to walk into any stores or the casino. We also walked into a store and my mother-in-law asked how much something was and they said "no sale Americans". I'm sure it's changed quite a bit now. It was beautiful.
A really lovely video, great walks that I have not known about. A question please- did you use public transport to get to the start points? I know the bus and trains are quite good and I prefer not to drive. Bon voyage for your future travels!
Thank you for watching! We did have a car and also at times our accommodations were near the starts. The Cap d'Ail to Monaco walk is down below the main road on a steep street so might be the hardest to reach by bus or train. Enjoy your walks!
This video has been wonderful, thank you for sharing. As a visitor to France, where would you recommend staying on the Cote d’Azure? I like the look of Menton, Villefranc sur Mer, Antibes etc. We want to do coastal walks but also have great access to other cities/villages along the coast. Nice seems like the obvious choice. Do you have any thoughts? Thank you for any advice you may offer.
Nice sounds good to us! There's also a nice costal walk around the peninsula of Antibes. And there's a small island with walking paths a short ferry ride from Cannes. In Nice, we like the Port Lympia area near Mt. Boron as a base because you can walk to the Promenade Anglais in one direction and to Villefranche in the other direction. Have a fabulous trip!
Too blingy and tacky. I like that I'm not the only one to find the flashy look at me I have too much money thing...tasteless and shallow. The little things in life are the big things...but each yo their own hey ! 😊
We are staying in frejus, stumbled on your video, paloma beach looks like a plan. Nicely presented video especially with the map inserts
Awesome, thank you! Hope you have fun on the walk!
Thank you for the video, next time will explore these trails. It’s very helpful and the video is very scenic! Merci beaucoup!
Thank you for watching and the encouragement!
Very meditative and informative 👌🏻 thanks a lot!🤍
Thank you for watching and subscribing! Glad you liked it! We appreciate your encouragement.
Great information, thanks!
Tres cool! Now I know why this area was one of your favorites. I think that door is the back entrance to the island on "Lost" 😉
Thank you for watching! We can't wait to go back. Maybe next time, I'll try harder to get the door open!
@@happygoluckytravel Did you guys think for one minute that the door...with camera, might be to a private residence!
Brilliant video!
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful. I so want to do my daily walks there!
You should! French Riviera is always worth a visit and Villefranche is a popular stop for many cruise ships. We'll be back there again soon too.
