I know right!!! I didn’t even trim it out either 😂 on this day though he left home with 30mins of SD card time left and no spare card so he was trying to get good content before the SD card filled up lol
Good place Isa. The mine gives plenty of well paid work and the town thrives. Truck broke down and was there 10 days with no wheels. Rented a car and drove out to the lake. Same bloke I did my mine tour with. Well worth it. Used to have a rippa brekky at the Tourist Centre. Legends with the boat. Well done with Jayda on the board. Slippin with that drone Chris.
Thanks Loryn! Every time I type your name it corrects me to the incorrect spelling and I have to double check it each time 😂 make sure you check our members posts to find out how to get some stickers from us! Thanks for joining 🥰
We were supposed to have visited here last year but due to COVID it put this trip on hold. Great to see it is a good place to stop look forward to revisiting one day. 🙂
The first time i ever got behind a boat like that, every bone in my body hurt for a few days!! it will sure give ya a work out.🐬🐟 I have also been in the mines here in America just touring around and it looks about the same. you can just see how hard them guys had to work.(coal mines here) not many guys now days want to work that hard... good video as always!! yall be safe! 🤙👍
Tell me about it!! It’s amazing how many muscles we have in our bodies that we don’t use often 😂 have to ask, what is your name? I can’t refer to you as km4fsi forever 😜 Cheers
@@BigOzExplorers LOL..my name is David and i really should change my RUclips name, just been to lazy. I'm a Ham radio operator and that's my radio call sign. you guys be safe and keep up the videos!!
Glad you guys had a blast in Mt Isa! I’ve lived there for 19 years and left in August for Cloncurry! Old Allan who took you on the tour is a deadset legend! 🤙 I hope your car is ok after it’s service 😂
Hello again. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. When we were in Mt Isa in 1982-85 the mine tour was in the main mine and we went down to level 34. It was on a Saturday and a special tour for all the New teachers in town. The sunset of the stack from the lookout was legendary. They used to blast every afternoon at 3.30pm as school finished and the whole place used to shake.
Wow that’s really interesting! 34 levels down, that’s full on! I don’t think they’d allow that anymore as I’m pretty sure we were only 1 or 2 levels deep, crazy just how far into the ground they can go hey. Thanks for sharing your stories with us 🥰🤙🏻
Hi guys , me and my family did a similar trip , Longreach, out to Isa and and back through to Richmond and home , In April 2020 and it was nowhere near as pretty the country was dead and lifeless and covid shut so much .. id love to get back that why again ... love you clips
Just goes to show the time of year can make such a difference to what an area can look like! We have been very lucky to avoid most of the Covid issues if I’m honest. I definitely head back out that way if that’s the type of holiday you’re into, it was great fun, just very hot ☺️🤙🏻
Amazing episode guy this was truly amazing. These memories you are creating are going to serve you well. I still remind my old folk how much fun we had in certain tours we took when I was around Jada's age I wonder if Nissan would fit the supercharger
I’m excited to hear what Jayda remembers of these trips when she’s older, I wonder what she’ll be able to tell her kids or grandkids? 🥰 I haven’t heard if Nissan install superchargers to be honest, might be worth looking into 😉
I got the perfect word for your videos: diversity! Amazing how one episode your in a lost town in the middle of the outback and the next you’re surfing 🏄♀️ Cape York but next can be a beautiful caravan park 😊 really love the amazing and unexpected videos you make! Your kids are gorgeous: Jayda is so smart and interested in trying everything and Jack cuter and cuter 🥰
Thanks so much Celia, I always worry with the big change between outback to boat (for eg) that it may be too far away from what people started watching us for. Great to hear you and others have enjoyed it so much. Thanks for following the journey and see you next week 🥰🙌🏻
you probably dont give a damn but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the account password. I love any help you can give me!
And to be honest we didn’t show you half of what we got up to, this is just what we filmed! It’s a big town with lots to do, definitely worth a stop in 👌🏻
Amazing episode guys. wake surfing looks like so much fun. I must remember that mine when I go up North, it looked like fun. Cant wait to see the next episode. I really enjoy your channel, we get to see places we wouldn't normally think of. Its great to see Aussies on YT. Jacks is adorable
That’s awesome Michelle, I hope we can add a good number of places to the list that you may not have thought of. We try to do a bit of everything, you only live once right?! Thanks for watching 🥰🇦🇺🤙🏻
Great to see such generous and nice people out there congrats to u guys for offering a great day! If u ever come back through Emerald I can offer to take u up the street in my golf cart! 😂😂 but seriously as an underground coal miner for 15 years I can absolutely 100% tell u if I see an air leg bolter again I will walk out of the mine those things are a hard way to make a living!! 😂 good job guys! 👍🍺
That would be the best trip ever, we love a good golf cart ride 😂😂 they looked like hard work and I can only imagine doing that everyday, the hard work it would take day in and out, and the injuries! They’re so rough!
Been meaning to ask, whats your relationship with nugget industries? Loving the videos, have been binge watching since coming across your channel, intrigued what bar you will choose for the rig....
It’s a clothing range that we started and dabbled around with! We ended up closing it because Big Oz has well taken over now and it was a mission maintaining two entities! My review will come very soon, we are just waiting for it to upload at the moment but the Internet is shocking!
Another great post, envious of what you are doing, our daughter and son-in-law lived in Mount Isa in 2019. Please can you tell us when Part 8 of the Y62 build will be posted. I'm really looking forward to seeing your final post - and the promised spreadsheet showing total cost!! Thanks John
Hey John, it is coming I swear! After being caught up in the lockdown in Brissy after Christmas we needed to mission it to WA and filming was put on hold. It’s coming I promise and not far away! 🙈🙈
@@whitey62 That is my first choice but my overall budget is $100k. The price of the Y62s appears to have firmed up significantly in last 6 months, ie post Covid scare. So I want to see what that budget will allow me to fit in the way of accessories. If it doesn't work out I'll have to get a 2nd hand LC200 or maybe a new Prado. My offshore caravan is only 1.8tonne with 100kg towball weight, imported from South Africa.

Well we watched about 6 episodes last night, some great scenery in all, plenty of helpful hints. Great Work😀👍👏
