I like how the narrator of the Timeline Documentary lists off almost all the operational variables toward the end.

I am loving this channel as teaching this to students who have never even been involved in the planning process is extremely difficult. Something new to help bridge the knowledge and application gap. Into my toolkit this channel will go. 👊

Our pleasure! Good luck on the challenge and reward of educating the force.

@@35FoxTalks can anyone really explain the difference mission command and C2. The doctrine is mixed and which emphasizes decentralized execution and subordinate commander decision making?

@@straitsouthern8 We apologize for the delay in responding. Short answer is there never was an agreement. Since the term mission command came out, various leaders have challenged the concept. The closest answer to Mission Command vs. C2 is this: Mission Command is the art of commanding a force through all the means available to a commander in any situation; C2 is the science of Command Teams using Signal to coordinate operations via Radios & FBCB2 series (Lower Tactical Infrastructure) and Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) / Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) (Upper Tactical Infrastructure). We will make note to make a Q&A video on this topic.

@@35FoxTalks Thanks for the info as I think I have it right but when students see different perspectives on the two concepts of doctrine application, they really get wrapped up into which is better while mixing both with operational art/design. Terminology needs to be very separate and clear.
