    The SpaceX team should be very proud of themselves. Lets not forget only a few years back, NASA and Boeing were laughing at them. How things change.

      NASA never laughed at them. NASA, and the COTS program is why SpaceX exists at all. That competition (which SpaceX initially lost to Kistler Aerospace) was the impetus behind their creation. And later, NASA invested a Billion dollars in kind in technical oversight while they developed the Merlin engines. NASA wanted them to succeed. There was an issue of AW&ST where both Boeing and LockMart were dismissive of "this new little startup" and AW&ST presented it as "David vs. Goliath".

    • @will2brown50
      @will2brown50 Год назад +1

      People who claim space X and NASA were somehow working against each other have no idea what they are talking about. NASA has supported private innovation in aerospace for decades and Space X could not be anywhere close to where it is today without NASA's support. Space X uses NASA funding to take risks that NASA can't take, due to their status as a public organisation.

    • @Alexander-NA
      @Alexander-NA Год назад +15

      NASA vs SpaceX type comments are so dumb. NASA has been SpaceX’s biggest supporter and SpaceX literally would not exist without NASA, in turn NASA has benefitted hugely from SpaceX with missions like Crew missions.

I'm in total awe of how Elon and his SpaceX team have revolutionized spaceflight! All the men and women of SpaceX are the best of the best and what they've accomplished is nothing short of miraculous! Godspeed in all their endeavors!

    I love the way the NASA guy in the Evel Kneivel jacket talks about Dragon. Copium from the agency that has been dependent on the Russians and now SpaceX to get its astronauts to ISS since 2011.

      @@TURST67Maybe if you consider all of SpaceX' history. But I don't think SpaceX needs NASA anymore to keep in business. I doubt NASA revenue is more than 20%. Tax payer money there certainly is much more in the form of Space Systems Command launches.

      SpaceX is an infinitely better choice than the Russians.
      And, frankly, better than NASA as well.
      Actually modern spacecrafts, and _muuuuuch_ cheaper.

      @@celtspeaksgoth7251 Roscosmos charged us extortional amounts of money per pound per launch. And mocked us that we'd never have an active space program again. That we'd "need a trampoline" to get into space ourselves.
      I was dreading a future where we'd have to forever rely on those ancient and horribly inefficient Soyuz rockets for orbital access.
      So fvck Roscosmos. And Thank God for SpaceX.

    Nice view of a UFO/UAP flying in behind the ISS as the capsule is at way point 1. NOT a satellite, and not space debris. Enters frame very quickly....then slows rapidly and then paces the ISS. Wonder whose craft that is???
