  • Hi! Welcome to Blood Talks!
There is so much that goes into making sure that blood and blood components are safe for transfusions. Preparing blood and blood components is not just too simply collect from a donor into a collection bag and from a collection bag into a patient. As you can see from this video, there are many steps involved in making sure that we maximize every blood donation. A unit of whole blood can be processed into red blood cells, plasma, platelets, and cryoprecipitate AHF.

Welcome to Blood Talks Fam. Blood Talks offers you a peek into how clinical laboratory scientists (CLS) or medical laboratory technologists (MLT) work in a hospital. CLS/MLT hold an important role in the healthcare system, but unfortunately, many people do not know that they even exist, simply because most of CLS/MLT work is done behind the scenes. In this channel, you can find explanations from a clinical laboratory point of view. I hope you enjoy and learn something you did not know before.

I like your graphic design illustration in this video.I definitely learnt alot on your video. We have (3) components Plasma, Red blood cell,Paltelet in blood that science use to save ones life i.e whom need blood infusion.I seen a woman done a video about a lab 🧪 studies on blood. She use the FFP and PRP blood extraction method, however I don't think she's from the United States because like your video stated it's not being done here. Its fascinating to know what effect of donating blood 🩸 has in the medical world.💯❤️It's very much appreciate to those whom donate their blood,y'all are the heros ‼️

I will try to talk slower. There is a option on RUclips that will let you slow down the speed. I hope that helps for now.

I like how you were creative i.e graphic illusionation.I learn alot.i mostly gotten pretty much the method in which ways in a safety way we supposed to store (3) plasma, red blood ,and patelet.i seen a video where a lab 🧪 tech did reseach on blood ,and she extract the way you explain about the FF and ,PRP ways of storing the blood, however i don't think she was from united states.Like you specify they don't perform extracting blood in that way in the united states. Its fascinating to learn how and which ways when you donation blood are saving lives.
