Awesome another video, I'll get around to getting my shirt and stickers, still watching 👀👀👀 yeah put some detail in it noice 🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺😎🙂👍
Good job. I buy trailer fenders. 2 for $99 on Amazon. Work like a charm. But Great work, the way you do it, you can make the tub as wide as you want. It’s Limited with the trailer fenders unless a strip of metal is added
Awesome video Boys I’m going to give it a go and have a crack on my VE regal I’m on a budget backyard build so it’s good to know I can make them up myself with out buying them in a kit 👍
Good to hear mate. We look forward to seeing it !!
Awsome video.
Pity no code word this week but great video.
Cheers mate. Sorry for no code word we forgot.
@@BackyardBuilds next time
Great video, question though, bead roll before u round it? Bending through the roller does not distort the bead roll?
Hey mate. Thanks for the question, it can but we open the bottom roller up to stop that.
Were u get the sheetmetal at
If you haven't already got one ( or thought of it ), Go buy yourself a head mount for the GoPro.. Will give yet another perspective and you'll have two hands free when you're filming..
Cheers mate. I was doing some filming today and thought about buying one or even a chest mount
You use 1.2 or 1.6 gauge?
These were 1.5mm, Tom has done a couple of burnout cars and they are normally 2mm sometimes 3mm.
@@BackyardBuilds yes Roger that nice cheers 🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺
Nice work what’s the thickness of the steel in your tubs
These were done out of 1.6mm hot roll steel.
Are you using cold or hot rolled steel
Ok I watched another 5 seconds looks like hot rolled
For tubs we will use either. For patch panels we will use cold roll
Plasma cutter be nice
Definitely working on buying one mate.
We also wanted to show a way of doing it with just basic tools. Don’t always need the fancy stuff.
@@BackyardBuilds yes understand guys, your doing great helping the battelers out, nice to see, keep up the great work Cheers KC 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺🇦🇺😎🙂👍
Awesome content, what's the details on the KTG Ute in the background?
Hey there mate. Cheers for the comment, it’s a HG, 253 and trimatic, Tom got it as a half finished project, he finished it up and has sold it in. There is an episode called pleasure twins on it.
@@BackyardBuilds legend, we have an August 68 HK Ute project we are hoping to start this year. Want it tubbed for 12's and fit the 11.0sec running gear from our HK Sedan
Sounds like an awesome plan mate!! We will have more KTG content coming up as well
