I always thought Kevin Nealon was excellent as the Weekend Update anchor, he gets lost in the equation due to Dennis Miller being anchor for so long and Norm MacDonald was Norm MacDonald who had OJ on trial and The Clinton's in The White House.
Nealon, Carvey, and Hartman are some of the greatest of all time. That cast also had Chris Farley, Julia Sweeney, and Victoria Jackson who I always enjoyed.
You really hit the nail on the head with that. So many things seem Soooo far away and out of reach to people and so unrelatable. This is just 2 interesting and funny people taking a walk and shooting the breeze. The subtle or hidden charm of this is it's feeling of accessibility. TV and Netflix should take note.
I find both shows very enjoyable. To me, there’s nothing alienating or envy-inducing about watching Jerry interviewing another comedian in a car I’ll never own. I would never see the inside of a Porsche otherwise, so I appreciate it 😅
Kevin Nealon, you are in your element with this hiking series. It's a brilliant concept, with excellent guests, you are all getting in shape and the conversations are enjoyable. Please keep these good videos coming!!
What's funny is Kevin is getting in such great shape from all the hiking his hikes are getting longer and longer while his guests get more and more wiped out lmao.
Thanks Kevin and Dana. Just starting my day. Grew up watching you guys and doing my best impressions of you guys and It always made people laugh. Laughter is a huge key to happiness in life. Im now a retired vet and seeing your skits make me laugh and laughter is so vital to life. Just a huge thanks for making these videos. “ I am here to PUMP you UP” Love the hike videos.
The funniest hour I ever spent was Dana Carvey at a lunchtime speaker program at UCLA back around '89 or '90. There was no direction given, so he just responded to whatever the audience heckled out. He was doing everthing improv, was so funny, I was still laughing at the last thing he did when his next bit had me gasping for air. So talented. This was a good hike.
The best part of Walking with Kevin is his ability to disarm his .. guests.. victims.. There are so many traditional interviews that focus for obvious reason on "whats next" but also with comedians in particular they tend to always feel the need to be "on". It's nice to get a chance to see people who entertained us to share an honest piece of their real selves. Thanks Kevin! (and Dana) :>
This is absolutely the best interview show ever. I’ve watched all these comics my whole life. And NEVER have I enjoyed interviews more than these. So real. So revealing. Funny without forcing it. This is Truly great!!
Clean Slate is one of my all time favorite movies, so underrated. Dana is talent personified and I'm both saddened and elated that he wasn't bigger. The real ones know his performing chops and relish his work past and present. Hanz and Franz, the church lady, Garth Algar...all are genius. Love his work. 💗 Great hike, gents.
That was so entertaining and effortlessly funny as always!!! So happy to see Dana (my fav SNL alumni) hiking with old smoothie Kevin !!!! Keep it up Kev and keep this up!!!!! So much better then Comedians getting coffee!!!!
"Silly sophistication" That's kind of brilliant!. I think this phrase might also be used to describe Conan's comedy. It's silly, but there's multiple layers to it (as Dana says rhythm, attitude etc.) and it's also somehow grounded so that the silliness can really take off and go strange/unexpected places. Anyway, I know it can be tedious philosophizing about comedy, maybe even pointless. It's not a science (Conan used to always say that). But sometimes it's just interesting to think about it.
These videos are great. I think they hold a lot of value. You don't often get to see a lot of these persona's anymore and it's really good to get a candid perspective like this.
Dana great!!! There is something awesome about your chemistry ! I think this is my new favorite hike you and Dana can’t wait to see part two!! Thanks 🙏
The best thing about this genre is that physical activity relieves stress allowing both to be more open and laid back. Also KN is such a genuinely cool and likable guy so people just open up.
I am so happy to see you and Dana Carvey, I was hoping to see you with him hiking! Enjoyed this so much! Your conversation was so funny and loved hearing about Mickey Rooney and the other iconic stars! Thanks Kevin!
LOVE DANA. Just now getting to watch. Wish I could walk. I'd give anything to go on a hike again. Please keep this going Mr. Kevin. As long as possible. Thumbs up, for sure.
Kevin, if anyone can do it, you can. Get David Lee Roth. He isn't a comic, but what a life he has lead. Super smart dude, and the term "Party Like a Rock Star" was written for him.
Just found this channel and I cant stop watching these videos. Love the insight you get into your lives and what you guys do outside of being on Tv and out of the limelight for a bit.
I'm so glad I found your channel Kevin! I love these interviews - great concept and very well done. You guys were part of my favorite cast of SNL! I'm binge watching most of the rest of these now 😁
Just the Tip?(is that all you get after all these years Kev) I love you guys, I'm glad you are doing this Kevin, you are such a great guy, I miss seeing you guys' on SNL and I grew up with you all, Farley, Carvey, Sandler, Lorne, Schwartzy, Hartman(god bless him), Farrell, oteri, dunn. your walks are great thing, thanks for this look at the good ppl of hollywood.
Hi Kevin love your show! Thanks for featuring Dana Carvey! It's really hard to understand how someone with so much talent is not up front and center more often! Thanks Kevin Nealon👍
Kevin, I just discovered this channel a week ago. Why the hell did it take me so long?!!! Totally delightful interviews...all of them. Would love to hang out at the lunch table with you and your guests and just listen to your life stories. I'd feel totally at ease knowing that because of my net worth I would not have to pick up the check. I probably would offer to cover the tip just for bragging rights and the honor to sit with legends
I thought he was wearing the hat in order to hide his "Massive Headwound". "Chopping Broccoli", and "Ross Perot" still make me laugh, but "Scarface At Thanksgiving" has got to be the best ever. It has posture, musicality, and rhythm. Thanks, and "Fu¢#\πg 49ers", Forever!
Kimmel Fallon and Colbert are not funny at all they suck real badly and Fallon has destroyed the tonight show.. Horrible sell outs and not funny in the least.
jbscotchman I like Colbert’s interviews. His monologue is iffy. I do really enjoy Nealon’s interviews/conversations, though. It’s great to see the real person and not just the public image of these folks we know only through TV or movies.
These inspired me to take a hike yesterday... I slipped and fell on my ass, but awesomely, my jeans didn't even get dirty. The beginning made me laugh so I am sharing, again HAPPY I "stumbled" across this channel last night.
For the record: $200K a year in 1937 [as a teenager] is worth $3.456 million in 2018. Not shabby. GOD this is fun! I love you guys! Kevin, you are a GENIUS for getting great guests. Just perfect. And all good wishes you and to Dana "Choppin' Broccoli" Carvey! I have so many fond memories of Dana from Wayne's World and SNL, and his stand-up routines!
These two WERE my preteen into teen years! Devoured any sketch they did. Then add Phil Hartman and it was magic. Great time for SNL. ❤️
@@whatdothlife4660 I loved Melissa Villasenor and nasim pedrad. They were funny as hell with their impressions.
Comedians riding around in cars I’ll never be able to afford? I guess that’s okay. Two guys really talking about their craft while walking? Superb!
John Bryan Or if he would let other people talk.
You really hit the nail on the head with that. So many things seem Soooo far away and out of reach to people and so unrelatable. Yessss you said it!!
I feel like I'm getting a true taste of what it means to be one of these celebrities living there - not like a regular talk show at all. Well done!
Hans and Franz, back together! Good hike as usual, Kevin!
Grew up on them both!
Kevin Nealon, you are in your element with this hiking series. It's a brilliant concept, with excellent guests, you are all getting in shape and the conversations are enjoyable. Please keep these good videos coming!!
It's encouraged me to walk more. I'm by myself though.
@@paintinganimalsonrocks7633 You`re not alone. You are. But you are not LOL
This is currently the best thing on the net.

Even better than constant Corona virus fear-momgering?

This is like the healthy version of riding in cars with comedians.
What's funny is Kevin is getting in such great shape from all the hiking his hikes are getting longer and longer while his guests get more and more wiped out lmao.
cowleshome
Those are pecs, and they're spectacular.
Sorry, but I know all too well what middle aged fat-man-tits look like. Kevin has a little age-sag but the mass is rather impressive muscle.
But Dana is actually a long-distance runner. That's his thing.
I love hearing "Garth" in bits of Dana's real voice.
Garth is based on his real-life brother.
What if he's really Garth and been doing Dana Carvey impersonation for a living...
Kirk Douglas is a legend! Dana Carvey is Legendary!!!!! Great hike!!!!
Glad you had a hike with Dana he is one of my favorite comedians ! You are too Kevin ! Love watching your channel !
Hans and Franz you guys were frigging hilarious good to see you both back together if only for a hike
That "take a hike" bit was nice. Classic comedy
I'm not sure if I planted the idea for this, or we just tapped into the same collective consciousness around the same time.
Right, don't mind if I do!
I love these Kevin, you have amazing guests and there is nothing like a hike to get people really talking, kinda brilliant.
Why would 29 down vote this? This is RUclips gold baby!!!
CURRENTLY the down votes are point zero one four six percent (0.0146%) of the up votes. Totally meaningless. This IS RUclips gold!!!
Petty jealous people. They still count as views.
Best episode of the show so far, the chemistry between you guys really makes each of you shine

Kevin Nealon does fantastic interviews, he should have been the next Johnny Carson.
Carvey does a great Carson impression
I agree. He has that witty, laid back personality.
50% is awesome. I love him even more now. Service Industry Folks unite !
Dana Carvey is so intelligent and talented. Love the two of you talking and thinking outloud. You two are the best!
God, I love Dana Carvey so much. He is my spirit animal.
I like how real and humble they are. Do one thing every day you enjoy...pretty simple
This was my favorite and I've seen all of them. You two guys are brilliant together. Such amazing chemistry.

If they played it right and had good writing, could be great.

As others have said, it's mind boggling this channel doesn't have millions of subscribers. Great interview.
