In this video we take a look into the design concepts and materials used for each of the 7 different storefronts. This storefront was inspired by a street I saw first hand in Amboise France. This Design is a public space with a private and secluded feel because of the vegetation and walls provided.
◾Store front 1:
Design Elements: Prediment Dormer, casement windows, limestone block facade, symmetrical chimneys, slate roof, precast band, shutters, french doors
◾Store Front 2:
Design Elements: gable roof, grouped casement windows, red / brown brick, tudor arch entry, large ornamental chimney, slate roof, half timbering, cantilever w/ corbels, precast Stone
◾Store Front 3:
Design Elements: Steep hipped roof, grouped casement windows,
precast quoins, french doors, large ornamental chimney, hipped roof dormer, slate roof, limestone facade, detailed paneling.
◾Store Front 4:
Precedent: Clock Tower Amboise, France
Design Elements:
gabled dormer, grouped casement windows, stucco facade, tudor arch entry, cupola, slate roof, half timbering, cantilever with corbels, precast stone
◾Store Front 5:
Precedent: Chateau de Versailles
Design elements: Arch top roof dormer, red brick, french doors, chimney, mansard slate roof, casement windows, precast stone
◾Store Front 6:
Design Elements:
Parapet gable, casement windows, limestone block facade, centered chimney, slate roof, precast band, shutters, french doors
◾Store Front 7:
Precedent:
Chateau de Clos Luce
Design elements:
Parapet Gable, Stucco, Casement windows with transoms, quoins, Slate roof, Precast band, Precast stone
