I don't know how the Game Changers scene works, but if they're going for the same format as in VCT, G2 Gozen will play in the T2 scene if G2 even wants to keep the team as it isn't necessary now that they were denied for franchising. Riot really killed G2 by denying partnership to them 😅

Why aren't esports unisex competitions ? I mean this ain't basketball or football where the male genetics play a role in physical strength and stuff according to gender... This is just mouse keyboard and a screen. hand-eye coordination.

Without sounding disrespectfuI, I think it's because esports have been male dominated for a long time and so many male players have had more opportunities to get experience and be more widely recognized and valued. So if you keep the same leagues, it would be hard for women to break into the pro scene right away and they will face a lot more challenges. Having an all women's tourney means they can in effect give exposure to a lot more players, which is a good thing. Atleast that's what i think.

Because they simply cant compete at the same level, these GC teams are getting fucked by T3 teams or random immo mixes in open quals

@@JOJO20247 Yeah and that is what's happening currently but until these esports competitions start being unisex women will never be able to come up to that caliber of male scene. Agreed in the start it might suck that women teams won't even be able to compete with male major league skillset. But eventually in upcoming 2-4 years they'll definitely come up to the qualifying level against male players. Only need a starting point.

One of the major issues that come up is most of the times most men aren't respectful to their female teammates and we all know in any sport, rather that be esports or physical sports, pressure makes you cuss a lot of foul words which seems disrespectful towards woman leading to most men rejecting to have any women in their team even if some women have no issues with it. Plus the mainstream is so much dominated by men players its impossible for women to get upto the pro scene unless there's a seperate league for them to begin with. Its called "Game Changers" for the same reason.
