Hi there. You don’t need to warm up lye. Once water and NAOH are mixed it heats up . You want the lye to be cool to use it. If you check my newer videos I explain more
Love your Goat Milk soap they look so creamy. Gee Rhonda I am so happy for you as your beautiful RUclips channel is growing, you as so generous with all your information just love this channel 🌸🐐
Oh thank you kim. You saved me at the start so you know I’m so grateful 😇 . Funny to think of now 😂😂😂 yes it is growing every day so I must had some interesting things
Thank you. sometimes less is more i think. i get a lot of customers at markets asking me if i have basic bars so this will be a great help to those customers
enjoyed your video I have ezema and I only use home soap on my skin no perfume whats so ever. lotion deoderant its very hard making sure you watch what you put on your skin. thank you for the information.
Is there a way to reduce trace increasing fastly with goats milk? I'd love to make a similar soap to this but with fragrances but I fear that will make it thicken up even faster.
I use powder and it does not thicken to fast. I suggest the fragrance is slow moving like lavender or watermelon or alike. If you blend on low that also helps. I do very small bursts of blending then I mix and so on.
No you don’t need that. Basically you put the oils I. And then soap calc will tell you the water and lye. Basically I keep to 5% SF and 26% of oils Then 20% coconut oil 9% cocoa butter 8% Shea 53% olive oil 2% caster oul 8% sweet almond Approximately
@@vanessamaistry7757 Up the top of the soap calculator there should be thing that lets you click either percentages or grams (or whatever measuring metric used in a recipe you may find for instance ounces) , in this case pick gram then add in the oil quantities given and it'll then tell you the percentages and all that. You can play around with the water ratios too if you like to get it close to the recipe given. I hope this helps🙂 . Holly x
This so came out beautifully. My first soap was a goats milk soap, I love them 😊
Thank you. It’s really creamy so I’m looking forward to trying it
Rhonda I love unscented soaps sometimes and that gorgeous creamy natural look is perfect for a goats milk soap for sensitive skin.
Awe thank you. Yes some people don’t want scented . I am going to make another unscented soon.
I was wondering how do you warm up your lye? New soap maker here! And is it 75 grams or 275 grams of distilled water?

Love this colour, I'm wondering as to why you used these moulds? I have these, plus the loaf mould...can we use the loaf?
I use many different ones . I have over 200 moulds and I started small and then got better as I went along
I know what you mean...my collection is around 40 for bath bombs...I get a bit carried away, haha

Hello, what can I replace.palm oil with ? Pls
You would need to put through soap calc. I no longer use palm oil
Why did my goat milk powder cause my batter to turn orange?
It does that but it will go back to white in several weeks time during curing. Its just a chemical reaction
Rhonda you mention running a recipe thru soap Calc but wudnt you require the percentage of lye and superfat to do that?
