This is the inaugural episode in an all-new Brass Tactics series, and it kicks off a series of episodes focusing on the exercises in the Brass Tactics 6/60 Routine. Please leave a LIKE and a question or comment below. Thanks for watching!
For anyone on the fence about purchasing and using the 6/60 routine I encourage you to buy it. I started using 6/60 in Feb 2023. Since that that time my endurance, range and focus have improved. I suggest also that you read the foreword and afterword before you even play a note of the book. Doing so will answer many questions you have and of course the videos are a wonderful resource too. Thank you Chase for helping me get myself back in shape and improving too
@@chasesanborn 😁 Only good things to say about you. I scrutinised a lot of videos before settling on yours, the reason being you provide good, accurate, and useful information, much of it in accordance with guys I very much respect who are experts on the physics and science of brasswinds. In the world of brass education, that is a rarity, I'm afraid.
@@gregmonks Thanks for that. I've tried to absorb from a wide range of sources, but in the end, each of us presents what we have found to be true or helpful for ourselves and/or our students. I offer my advice with a liberal dash of salt!
@@chasesanborn I'm much the same way. Some of the greatest players are of the "do everything wrong" varity, but pointing it out and/or criticising does no one any good. I think if we put out good information as a possible alternative, that will be enough.

Great book! Thanks, Mr. Sanborn!
Thanks for saying so, Kevin!

Many thanks to you too!
Hey. Got your book. I dig it. Started doing 1-5 as my warm-up in the AM. Only been a short time, but I believe I hear improvement already. Thanks!
Glad to hear that. Over the next few months I'll have a video on each exercise. The next is scheduled for May 6.
Hey, Chase, I'm flogging you and your book on my brass history channel. Don't hurt me. 😁
No bad press! :)
