Just came across your channel from this video. I've really been considering becoming a flight attendant but haven't pulled the trigger yet. This video was pretty helpful and is helping me make up my mind!
My god, you are so adorable! Congratulations! Thanks so much for this. I am waiting for my training to be scheduled in Dallas (probably between Oct and Dec 2023). Very exciting and nervous!
Congrats on going to training! It is natural to be nervous, just remember, others who are attending will be nervous too. It will be such a unique and rewarding experience. Wishing you luck!
Congratulations on becoming a FA, wishing you happiness and endless memories being made in your new Career. Enjoyed your content on FA training sticking around for more 👍
aw! i actually met that guy at the beginning when yall found out about what base!! i was on the way to my F2F and it was his day off and he rode on the shuttle with me and someone else! hes very nice!
Congrats! There are a lot of flight attendants who come from the medical field! It will definitely help you during training so don't worry, you'll be great!
@@arjunkumarsharma3973 Nope! All airlines provide training directly through their companies so there's no need to seek out training elsewhere. The only thing I would recommend is having some customer service experience on your resume.
I love this video, my daughter is in training now, first week and she is little overwhelmed but she said she’s getting lot of help for succeed. How many tests did you get in total?
Hello,I’m feeling so happy to see your video,I’m just trying to apply but they just rejected, can you please give me some suggestions or advices, what can I do they accept my application!!!!!!! ❤❤
My airline gives you your own room! Some airlines do give you a roommate during training though. They will usually tell you if you'll have one or not during the face to face interview.
AA is our airline of choice. We collect points any way we can and have enjoyed many international trips on the last 15 years. Card with lounge access and status when booking seats do make it nice. I do hope they train you on the amenities offered with each class on international flights. We flew from Dublin to Dallas last September in Premium Economy and I had to tell the flight attendant that the class came with all the amenities of business, except slightly lower head sets. We flew from PHL to CDG in the same class two weeks prior and had no issues.
Thank you!! It took 2 weeks for me, but everyone's timeline is different! I know that there will be a LOT of classes in 2023 so hopefully they get back to you soon!
I got my CJO on January 18th I’m so excited for training but also very nervous worried about the testing I will study study study. Thanks for the great video.
Do you have any budgeting tips for the 6 weeks? From my research I heard you do not receive any pay for the six weeks, but food and stay are obviously included. Do you have any tips for budgeting?
At my airline we received a small amount of "training pay" after graduating training (I believe it was roughly $600 added to our first check, but I can't remember exactly how much). Food and stay are included yes! I was lucky enough to not have many bills to pay during training. My apartment lease had ended so I was just paying for the storage unit that my stuff was being held in. I would say definitely save up beforehand for any bills you know you will have to pay during training, and for moving expenses if you plan on moving to your newly assigned base after training. During training the only money that I spent was on two Target runs (for extra tights and snacks) and on a few dinners out with friends on our days off.
Is 90 the minimum score you need to pass the test is there also a minimum overall score you need to have? Was it difficult to maintain the average? Thank you great video
90 percent is the minimum score you need to pass each test. There are no overall test score averages taken with my airline. You could score a 90 percent on every single test and still pass the training. Thank you for watching! 🙂
I have a f2f coming up with AA and was just wondering if you knew anything about junior bases at the current moment, like where new hires are being sent and if the "satellite" base in Atlanta is ever open for new hires? Thank you for all the training information in your video!
Congrats on getting a F2F! Satellite bases are VERY senior and are never offered to new hires. It changes class to class which bases are offered, but it is highly unlikely you'll see PHX or LAX open to new hires as those are also very senior bases. All other bases are generally fair game and are easier to transfer into if you don't get them out of training!
Don't let it get to your head and be so happy. You sit in a galley and talk, do a beverage service. Nothing interesting and lots of people leave after 2 years because it's boring. Don't let it get to your head. Nice benefits but you will get tired of being in the back of the can.

Do you take your test on computer?
How many people do you think failed your class?
Does anyone know if the Flight Attendant Trainee position is the same as a Flight Attendant?
It is yes!

Did you go to a flight attendant academy?
Nope! My airline directly provided all of the training that was necessary for the position.
