I've made countless dishes thanks to you. Anything i feel like eating i always look up your recipes. Thank you very much, when most of married life your wife did the cooking and then you need to learn yourself thank you. All the dishes i've made have made me look like a pro and I'm making these dishes for the first time my kids love it and say papa really nice. Makes it all worth it. ❤
I like the way you use (often ) the nicely as an adverb - is this Fiji - indo-kiwi emphasis? Anyway , I notice you did not wait for the dry seeds to pop in the oil (which was not hot enough anyway - before you put in the onions etc ….? But in the end it does look yummy - I will try. All the best
I did wait for it to pop and you can hear it in the audio as well. My oil is always hot and you can also see the smokes on the side. I didn’t use a lot of oil in this dish and that’s probably why it isn’t as dramatic of an effect. Do try it and let me know how it turns out :)
Hi there - I tried it last night - it came out very well balanced and had a real Fiji taste . By the way I was in two minds which Fiji masala to use - dark (meat) masala or yellowish curry powder ….which did you use ?
