The problem with XORG is more apps are compatible with Xorg than wayland.
What is a compositor ? Sorry but I would have liked a more technical approach, at least explaining some key concepts
My problem with Wayland is NVIDIA
1:25 you might want to investigate more before making a video. there have been plenty of benchmark testing, and Xwindow usually outperforms Wayland in speed. In THEORY Wayland should be faster, but it's implementation is a mess, and buggy.
