@@SummerSmithC131 do you understand that birth control works that NO baby can be there at all? I'm not sure if you know how it works because *if* you know you understand that there is no baby.
@@SummerSmithC131I know concepts can be hard to grasp for y’all, but NO ONE, literally NO ONE, was talking about a baby 😂 News flash-womens reproductive health is more than, and more complex, than just being pregnant.
Yes!! Finally someone says it. I wouldn’t have had annual exams or birth control without planned parenthood. They even helped me with prenatal care during the first few months of my pregnancy (I didn’t have insurance yet). That was years ago, but they were a lifesaver for me 👍
I was 12 when I was put on birth control pills. Not because I was sexually active, but because I spent 3 days a month curled into a ball of agony. The pills helped so much with the pain of cramps!
I know someone who was born BECAUSE OF Planned Parenthood. Her parents were having trouble conceiving in the 1970s and it was PP who taught them about how to improve their chances of conception and sent them home with information and tools. For me, PP was my OBGYN when I had no insurance. I got my pap smears there and they provided me with the birth control medication I used to control my excessive periods.
When my granddaughter was in high school she and several of her friends had no health insurance at all and they went to Planned Parenthood for reproduction health care but for everything else too. I was surprised at the range of services they offered.
They saved about a dozen girls. the class of 1976 Amesbury. The school would not allow me to put up posters. Sorry to all the girls who got pregnant✨💃✨
Definitely. After college, I actually couldn’t work a full-time job for a couple years. Then my old doctor told me to try birth control pills and he got me some from the clinic he was working at. They were a miracle and I was able to work a regular full-time job, but then the economy got worse and the industry I was working in wasn’t doing as well so we got moved to part time so I lost my insurance and I was able to go to Planned Parenthood. At that time he couldn’t get me samples anymore. Without planned parenthood, I couldn’t have worked at all. Most months before I couldn’t even stand up many days. They really saved my quality of life, without them I don’t know what I would have done.
I was grateful for PP while I was in college and I was a virgin. I needed BC to regulate my hormones and period. When I was SAd, they were very supportive and went above and beyond getting me all the help I needed. They provide so many services for women and men.

Planned Parenthood was my advocate, friend, counselor, and provider after I was raped in college. The fact people want this amazing resource absolved is infuriating for me. I know there are freshman college students who have endured what I did except they dont have the luxury of having planned parenthood. It is sickening for this to be happening in 2024. 🤬
So I have to say, I think what people are understanding is you could still get your abortions you can still get treatment in hospitals hospitals have to treat you whether you have health insurance or not everything’s done at the state level now with both of those the federal government is trying to step away and let the states handle it because they’ve got other things to handle

Planned Parenthood has been there for me and my friends since we came of age in the mid 1970's. For years they were essentially my primary care- yearly paps, breast exams, abortions are available to every person who need them. They've expanded services since then and as always, include all people. I have them on autopay for monthly donations and they are in my will. Now that I can give back I will.
Which life? For a long time i thought pro life were pro life. But then i would ask about public healthcare. Gun safety. Feeding children. Immigration. Climate change.
