I remember welcoming Jesus into my heart years ago. This song was played in one of the services at the church I was going to. In few words: It was the praise song God used to call me into ministry. This Spirit of God is THICK every time I hear this song. We will never know what His whole purpose is in songs like this and how far the impact. I heard this song for the first time shortly after almost losing my 2-year-old son in a near-drowning experience. The imagery of the water and the connection to the story of Peter walking with Jesus on water created this gaping, painful experience of worship and surrender for me. I exposed my trauma and fear to God and through this song He has been healing me. I encourage you all to expose your wounds, not just to the church body in conversation, but in true worship and surrender between just you and your Father. This is where you will find freedom and the strength to move forward.

I asked why He sent to a non- Christian college and then I continued singing bridge after song finished and there was the presence of God, stronger than anything I had ever experienced, letting me know that I wasn't alone ever this year and that I was led where my feet could never wander, and now my faith has been made stronger. every time i sing this song, i get put into a storm and it seems like years until its over. i just dont think im ready for that again. i know god never fails, but i also dont want to live a life that has storm after storm after storm and it never ends.
The bible says in Proverbs 13:15 that the way of transgressors is hard. God wants us to be good soldiers for him (2 Timothy 2:3) and a good soldier doesn't complain. A good solider doesn't question his orders. He just follows them because he has faith in his leader. What if Christians were to live lives with absolutely no problems? No troubles or pain at all. What would we need faith for? Why would we need God to lead us where our "trust is without borders"? God sends us through trials to strengthen our trust and faith in him. God wants to prove himself to us and show us that he can deliver us out of our situations if we believe in him. So stop being afraid of this song (2 Timothy 1:7), stop running away when things get hard (Galatians 6:9), and START trusting in him (Job 13:15)!!! I PROMISE, you'll be glad that you did!! The Zion album has been in my car for the past three months. Never gets old! And when track four comes on, I end up putting it on repeat because the presence of God is just so powerful when I worship with this song. It was SO nice to hear Taya talk in this video btw! Lol. I first became aware of this song on September 20, 2013 and felt the Lord impress it upon me. I looked it up on RUclips the next day (Saturday) and again felt the Holy Spirit impressing this song upon me (and I didn't understand why). The Lord called my dad "out on the water" on Sunday, he died of a massive heart attack in his canoe and fell into the water where he was found on Monday. This song has been a great comfort to me as I know that dad served God and that God accepted dad's offering.
I missed that concert! I had every intention of going too; some school stuff took over that week. If that was the first time they did that song, I'm sad to have missed it. I listen to it almost every morning. Beautiful.

every time i sing this song, i get put into a storm and it seems like years until its over. i just dont think im ready for that again. i know god never fails, but i also dont want to live a life that has storm after storm after storm and it never ends.
The bible says in Proverbs 13:15 that the way of transgressors is hard. God wants us to be good soldiers for him (2 Timothy 2:3) and a good soldier doesn't complain. A good solider doesn't question his orders. He just follows them because he has faith in his leader.
What if Christians were to live lives with absolutely no problems? No troubles or pain at all. What would we need faith for? Why would we need God to lead us where our "trust is without borders"?
God sends us through trials to strengthen our trust and faith in him. God wants to prove himself to us and show us that he can deliver us out of our situations if we believe in him.
So stop being afraid of this song (2 Timothy 1:7), stop running away when things get hard (Galatians 6:9), and START trusting in him (Job 13:15)!!! I PROMISE, you'll be glad that you did!!

I first became aware of this song on September 20, 2013 and felt the Lord impress it upon me. I looked it up on RUclips the next day (Saturday) and again felt the Holy Spirit impressing this song upon me (and I didn't understand why). The Lord called my dad "out on the water" on Sunday, he died of a massive heart attack in his canoe and fell into the water where he was found on Monday. This song has been a great comfort to me as I know that dad served God and that God accepted dad's offering.
