Been waiting for someone to explain it this way. No one seems to talk about how this is the fear of fear itself. External situations aren’t a problem for me. It’s genuinely fearing not being able to control the emotion. That’s it.
I had zero anxiety until the pandemic hit in 2020, and everyone was locked up in their homes. Since then I have anxiety that has disrupted my daily activities. Now applying dare response to get back to my older self.
Serious question, although it's going to sound contradictory: Sometimes, for a couple of days, I can more or less accept the sensations, although I really don't like them. But there is this strong habit/desire to feel free again, free of sympoms. What advice can you give? Good questions, though :) 07:00 You two ladies deserve a honoring statue, I mean it.
I’m very new to this program and I’m enjoying it. The physical symptoms throw me off. Like dizziness. I seem to get it before I get in the shower.. today I just talked to it. I was trying to befriend it. It helped
love you guys. I'm so glad I found you. you have been a blessing. My brain is racing a little. I have lots of soon to be big things happening. Moving etc....Please help with prayer and advice. I do take meds and they do help. And your Therapy does help a tremendous amount. Thank you
I fear being relaxed, when I'm relaxed breathing normal and my mind goes quiet I panic thinking I'm dying or shutting down, so I panic but my body still stays tried and calm sometimes I do meditate and do breathing exercises nit when I feel too spaced out it scares me and triggers thoughts is this normal in anxiety thank you 😢
I can do this with most of the symptoms and sensations....but the dissociation....dp/dr.....Just scares the living crap out of me.....and just increases because it scares me so bad ....How do I not be so scared etc by it?
Please, can you do another streaming video talking about the fear of "what if I will keep of having this bizzare thought forever". It happens to me very often that I think of very bizzare intrusive thoughts and than I push my brain into give it more and more and more bizzare details like how far it can all go.
Please can I have some advice. When I have panic attacks, I used to tense up, the attacks were still terrifying but only lasted about 3 hours. Now when I have panic attacks I try my hardest to just go with it but that makes my symptoms last for 3 days. What am I still doing wrong?
If you have anxiety over a sensation that your feeling and out mind is constantly thinking about it, can you cause the sensation to happen? What can you do to get your kind to stop focusing on that sensation?
The dare response has been a game changer in my recovery. I'm moving forward in leaps.
