What a great event man and a long video! Lol it coulda gone 2 hours easily lol. Thanks for the coverage. I got tied up with life so now im playing catch up! Great coverage! That black crx is gorgeous btw!
The overall quality is definitely superb, but there weren’t any single builds that absolutely destroyed me until that bugeye at 58:16 - that was just so fresh & so right! 🍺
I think in person you may have been more impressed. The cars looked super good with all of them being complete projects which was great to see. And it was a crazy amount of cars The classic VWs were also really cool.. not my type of car but done really nice
@@KanaRacing Haha, I think I undersold my overall enthusiasm for the collection as a whole - it was more that it was ALL so good that no individual car stood out to me like the WRX did. No doubt that was a the highest concentration of JDM quality outside of Tokyo Auto Salon.
I think the States could put on a better event. If you put all the Wekfest cars from all the events across the US. It would definitely beat Japan. But we're to spread apart for this to take place. I would love to see all the top cars in the States under one roof.
Forsure it would, US has a ton of great jdm cars from stock to modded. I think US jdm is also more unique since we like to do more crazy engine swaps etc. As much as I love japan and their events are def the best, US def is just to open. Even if we could get all of California's best jdm cars in one spot, it would be insane. I live in cali and been to few jdm meets from dustin Williams, to eibach, to art of attack. SoCal alone has a ton of amazing cars already
@KanaRacing they used to do that back in the day. Huge car show that went around the states. Like in 2009ish. The best of show would win a Dimond chase award. I got that award in my city/state. Then at the end of the year they threw a huge show in the east coast with only diamond chase winners.
I do. The handful I get to see are always hammered. Very rarely a clean one. I don't think I saw one the entire time in Japan. Seems like very few have survived the years.
Forgive how old I sound, but how fantastic is it that I can see this crazy cool event in better quality than my own eyes, curated by a guy Id be happy to spend the event with, all while drinking gin in bed?! Thank you for documenting and editing this and sharing with us all
Thank you!! My goal at any of these events is for you to "fell" like you're walking next to me and we are just talking about what we see and what's cool. I'm glad you enjoyed!!
Good to see a small channel getting out there to bring us this fire content 😮
Thank you 🙏🙏 I'm trying to bring something new and different 😎

Super clean. And complete, none of the cars felt half done or like they didn't fit in it was a super impressive grouping of cars.

BEST OF THE BEST!

Nice Prius! Serious question, why no Preludes? Do you think they're going extinct like to the junkyards??

930 turbo slantnose ❤
The slant nose has become a favorite car for me
How are all the cars that impossibly shiny
So clean. The next day I saw a handful of the same cars at the Doridore meet just swinging em. Crazy 😎
Now this what we all wanna see real quality builds none of that east coast ricer mobiles lol
All were super clean 🤯
