Also, I’m glad to see you used the NASCAR story I sent you on Mastodon (although you probably found it elsewhere). I played the track. It’s… fine. And its placement in the game is really hard to find unless you’re specifically looking for it, so it’s a kind of waste of a promotional effort for their Chicago street race this weekend.

Seeing the Sega logo I immediately heard Beej's voice in my head proclaiming that it's Sonic's 30th Anniversary.
I can only presume that the reason the Gundam skins for CoD weren't also brought up because Ian and Beej weren't around to have opinions.

I don't play shooters. The last Call of Duty game I played was the first one.
Anyway on the one hand there are like a billion series so it makes sense from a licensing perspective. Great bang for your buck gg.
On the other hand why in a CoD game would you do this. Battlefield is the one doing the future thing? I dunno if they have two dimes to rub together but it makes more sense to me.

To give some context on how anticipated Arishem was in Marvel Snap: on the day he came out, he was in *70%* of decks being played.
He is *so much fun* and easily the most hotly anticipated card in the game's history, despite largely making the game into a battle of "random bullshit go!"
(Also helps that they launched him last in a 5 week season (1 card releases each week and cards are only announced when a new season (roughly a month) starts), enough time for pretty much anyone playing the game to get the currency needed to guarantee unlock him)
Well it's because he starts a new deck style all by himself. We've had a long time of good cards and useful cards, but the last new deck type card was released was Annihilus.
@@bobdole1105 It's true. We've got a lot of good role players in the last few months, but this is different. This is a new deck archetype and one that it seems like a LOT of people want to play around with.
It being the end of the season also means a lot more players have made it to the top rank of the season, meaning they can play Arishem without any repercussions on the ladder.

The like follow and subscribe spiel at the end reminds me every time of the end Beej did recently (ish) where he went on a monologue about the evils of corporate culture and the destructive pervasiveness of greed or whatever, then segued seamlessly into plugging the Patreon and it was amazing.
The nugget gun just looks like what white phosphorus does to people, but somehow more horrifying with cannibalistic leanings. A straight up warcrime.

Speaking of creeps whose name I already forgot, I still love the Internet Ham skit from the Peter Serafinowicz Show. Instead of buying ham at the supermarket, a couple is shown buying a scratch off card and inputting the code online. It's short and simple but I like it.

People are down on it but the Crazy Taxi idea does have some theoretical blueprints in games like Burnout Paradise. Out of any dormant Sega franchise to revive as an open world multiplayer game, theres certainly worse options.
I could see it, there's some sense there... I DOUBT they'll do it, and I think Graham's point on ridiculously overly ambitious expectations is dead on, but I can actually see the possibilies.

Kathleen is correct, Arishem is a lot of fun. Jeff Hoogland is a good resource for snap decks if you're looking. He used to do mtg stuff but is now full-time on snap.

It makes you wonder - why didn't Twitch just hand the evidence over to the Police and let them do their job in the first place? By remaining silent on the reason for the ban, they allowed him to continue & as long as it's not on Twitch, they don't care? I have a feeling this story will be coming back at some point.
It really needs to be the law that if you're aware of sexual misconduct and don't _personally_ report what you know to law enforcement, you're considered an accomplice with all that implies.
I suppose it's also possible that Twitch _did_ report it to the cops, and the cops are just so stupid, incompetent, or apathetic that nothing ever came of it. I'm not sure what they should be obligated to do in that event.

Heritage ham is from "Heritage breed pigs - like the famous Berkshire hog - are the traditional breeds that were the norm before the industrialization of farming. Slow-growing and unsuited to conventional farming, many heritage breeds came close to extinction.", as per a site i found. More of a source of the ham, while HH can be made in many ways. Just had to find out cause the line was left open :D

Graham makes a good point about why the algorithm boosts what it does. Why not some weight for longevity? Consistency? Howabout checking channel subscribers retention? I cannot imagine someone subbing to LRR and ever leaving.
I will once against state the reason club nintendo was terminated so quickly and only in the NOA region at the time. It was an excel file. A very complex and password protected excel file. Which one person, was managing for years as a side project. Their termination was done with no thought to club nintendo or that management had no one with excel knowledge or the password.
I would love to know more about this???

In the current arishem filled meta the best arishem deck I've found so dar is quinjet, mystique, rogue, agent coulson, loki, darkhawk, sera, leech, mockingbird, blob, alioth, arishem. darkhawk is the mirror winner since it will have 30+ power and you can copy it with mystique. rogue can steal your opponents darkhawks and if you have priority your alioth can kill their darkhawk before they even get it's effect off. the other heavy hitter in the deck is blob since he will always have plenty to eat. another thing to note is that if mystique copies blob's ongoing can't move effect it will copy the whole card and she will also eat until she has at least 15 power, the same goes for rogueing an enemy blob. the other thing that you could try to fit in is shang chi because he is really good in the meta right now. also don't be afraid to loki only 2-3 cards in your hand if they are unplayable. you aren't a loki deck but it does give you a soft mulligan halfway thru the game.
That COD story has a winner winner chicken dinner joke in it somewhere but I‘m too lazy to find it

I'm really enjoying Blob and Colson in Arishem lists. White Queen and Doc Oc are also pretty good in my experience. Overall super fun card!
