I tried Wuthering Waves, but it lags a LOT for me. Even on minimal settings it's around 15fps, when I can play HSR or Genshin in 60fps on decent settings. That kinda ruins the fast-paced combat of Wuthering Waves for me
I like how in wuthering waves the enemies themselves are the “artifacts” and the bosses specifically can be farmed until you get the roll you want at NO energy cost just duke it out enjoy the ost and boom profit
Unfortunately for you to level the up and get substast you do need to use energy so I think it will be more of a pain in the ass in the future. I wouldn't say I prefer genshin's/star rail's artifact system but I thin in the long run echoes farming will be as tedious as artifacts or even worse. We will see tho.

Also that's for holograms where you have more than enough time to beat it with a full team so of course you can with just one character. But there also is an "abyss type" game mode where I'm pretty sure it will be a dps check for the most part.

It has a lot of potential, combat style is definitely quite fun (for me at least), i like the focus on intro and outro skill aspect, and i like some of the features like infinite stamina sprint and being able to sprint on walls, the doge mechanic is also pretty fun, however there are some improvement, like the music, and story, that needs to be made for sure, and since kuro listens to the feedback from their players i have high hopes they'll eventually deliver and improve over time, i don't want this game to be a "genshin killer" because i don’t want another genshin (i'm quite burned out from it) and i think it's unfair to put such expectations on kuro when they're against a behemoth of gacha games. Still i have high hopes for them and i'll definitely keep playing and supporting them.

So far the world exploration, combat, and character design feel equal if not better than Genshin. Then the NPC's are on another level, and you have monster catching instead of artifact farming Though as much as I'm loving the game, it also makes me appreciate Genshin's strengths - the bigger roster, elemental system, emphasis on team play, and music score. I'll definitely stick with both, and enjoy having Kuro and Hoyo compete Overall, I'm giving Wuwa a strong 8.5, with room for improvement. The devs appear to be comitted and listening to the players, so let's see where it goes
I disagree on character design, I feel like Genshin character has more variety of colors and more interesting details in their designs than WuWa. In my opinion WuWa character’s color pallets are very same-y to me? A lot of them have black or white colors which is boring, Verina is the exception and I really hope future characters have more interesting design. I agree fully on NPC’s tho.

guys if u want to dump talk about Genshin adn Wuwa i think u have to remind urself when the Genshin first released. 😅 lots of dump thing Genshin devs did. Wuwa will find it owns audience for revenue in long term i don't think it will reach even half of Genshin since Genshin color palette theme and characters are widely cover broader market than Wuwa.

So many mechanics, love the catching monster and making them into your skills things, animations are sick, them jiggle physic are imaculate-. Still, there are some bug or glitches i have encounter, but other than that. Really fun and enjoyable game! You all should play it
