Yes, although I would agree that black or brown skinned people would have a hard time breaking through into the industry, I would argue that the Chinese would have it just as bad, if not worse. Many people today still leave out the Chinese when it comes to "Diversity". Companies can't preach about diversity when they constantly leave out the Chinese when finding models to model their products.

Liu Wen is seriously one of my role models. I'm from the Philippines but I have Chinese blood which makes me look 'chinita'. Growing up, it was a bit hard because I didn't have the cute, K-Pop, big eyes, etc. features but seeing her, it gave me hope. It was really rare to find successful Asian women who has small eyes, not super cute features, and a strong look growing up. She really makes me proud because I realized that I don't have to look a certain way to be seen as beautiful. I just need to be myself and have my own 'standard' of beauty for myself.

Even if you are hardworking or you are #1 in your job but hot headed they will only remember you as hot headed. attitude is what will take you a long long long way
