This 24/7 life stream is providing Real-time data about the recent earthquake cluster near Santorini and Kolumbo Volcano.
Some explanation
Map:
Yellow - last quake
Red - most recent (see 3dplot text for how may hours/days)
blue - older quakes.
Green - Kolumbo
Purple Info BAR - show when it is updated and what is seen on slide (6 hours/ 24 hours or 5 days)
Update/Latency
Graph/Map and table is coming from EMSC and is update 2-5 minutes after they reported By EMSC
THERA Seismograph- updates every 45 second and has latency of around 5 minutes that why it is blank on right side of the
60mins
Rshakes: updates every seconds
Position
THERA: Santorini
R25B3 - Creta 150 km from earthquake cluster
R5730 Assumption is on Santorini
if plot above R25B3(Kreta) above R5730 you can see quake arrive 30 second earlier and stronger on
R5730. so my assumption and looking at timing it is on holiday in Santorini. on cyprus would not be
able to see 3 magnitude quakes. and arrive 60 second after RB25b3
