Nah, this would be the perfect situational signing. Dallas needs a better rb2 than Rico. That's part of the reason other teams didn't fear the Cowboys rushing attack last year. Zeke at 29 is still better than Rico. Draft your new rb1 (my vote is Trey Benson), and have Zeke as rb2.
As for the numbers, since Dallas needs a better rb2, there's no one that makes more sense than Zeke specifically because they're already paying him. That means they can bring him in on an incredibly cheap deal, as opposed to paying someone like Dalvin Cook a little more on top of what they already have to pay Zeke.
They're already paying him whether he's here or not. If he signs for a vet minimum deal or a low guarantee but high incentive contract; then yeah Im with that 100%. At worst he can help out with the added blindside pressure this season thanks to them letting Tyron slide out of here $6.5 million!!
