Thanks 'Many Miles'....... the planes are QUITE Detailed, but since there are many 'whiskers' in bunches, SO It is difficult to cut out those planes out.........Another 1ST for me.
BUT, looking forward in placing these planes on my A/C. MIDWAY-class are spoken for, but when I get Back to my FORRESTAL and SARATOGA, these will Need the A-7Es on deck, A Lot of 'em. and the F-14s, the A-6s from the kits mentioned in the video CAN be "modified" to make them look representable, but......
I still have to look into how many -7s and -14s I actually need, an idea I could have is to "sandwich" the "ugly" planes with the 3D-printed on the edges, we'll see.

amazing prints Moe! the detail is awesome. Excellent review! Say Moe- i wanted to continue our conversation about weathering on your video instead of on Kory's comment lol. So dullcoat provides a nice canvas to paint on, it also provides a seal on whatever is under it. So I don't use dullcoat when using acrylic paint because once you seal it, it's done. If you don't seal it, then I can go back with alcohol on a q-tip and alter the scrylic that i've already laid or i can strip it off altogether. This cannot be done once you dullcoat it. For my boxcars, I'm not done with any of them- in fact I'm just getting started with some of them, therefore i haven't put any dullcoat on them. going forward, i will be using powders more, in which case I will need to start using dullcoat more because the powders will absolutely come off or get messed up without dullcoat. I hope this helps. btw- you're doing excellent work on your channel! Very impressive!

Thanks 'Mystic', but these are not My "prints", but come from a French company, as I mentioned in the video.....BUT their work is SUPERIOR!!
I have never seen such detail in a small scale plane before, and JUST Seeing the weaps on these 'guys', is Really Exciting to me!!
Thanks for the info on the link, I'll see if e-m it to you could work.....
As for the tips on weathering Powders....just to let you know that those powders Might not ( I haven't tried it, but heard from others ) do so well when sprayed with DullCoat or any other spray, as it tends to bleed them out. So Experiment first on sheet styrene before use. For me...I'll stick to the washes themselves AND Maybe use the powders on a flat surface, but Very lightly, more of a smear than anything.
