thiRd eyE wheeLer well Portugal is located right under Spain. The language itself comes from Latin. it used to be way larger but then we lost a lot of our land to Spain. Over the ears Portugal has not changed very much. The economy is actually quite bad there which explains why most places in Portugal aren't very "upgraded" and look the same as they did almost 100 years ago. Just like in Hawaii, culture is taken very importantly. The Portuguese also continue on teaching their cultural dances. As you might know the Portuguese were the first to discover Brazil and began trading with them and a lot decided to stay in Brazil which is why the Brazilians speak Portuguese. And last thing cause I don't wanna bore you to death. A long time ago Portuguese ships would sales across the world and one of the reasons they came to Hawaii was to help with the sugar plantations?( correct me if I'm wrong) but anyways Portugal is very small but it is beautiful. :)

Moana is honestly one of those rare movies that you only ever get every few years. One that you watch and instantly know. One day, you’ll watch Moana again and remember how amazing it was. I have faith that this movie will stand the test of time, and become a classic like some of the other Disney movies like Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan. Movies that at the time were great, and now are even better with that sense of nostalgia. Moana is to the newer generations what those movies were to us.

i think that people seem to kind of go pass a big factor in this movie and which was used. I saw it and literally each time it was used, i felt my heart get so warm and tears starting to form. it's called "ha" the breath of life. it's the motion moana does to her family members a lot and how she defeated the god. the motions for ha is when you touch foreheads, and your eyes close. sometimes your nose would touch one another, sometimes it won't. But that motion is to represent one thing that we all are connect by. the breath of life. what created us flows through us to be alive. we breath it in and out. we share it with one another. this motion was used a lot in this movie and it makes me so happy (i say again) because it's such a key factor in the movie that was kind of by passed by the people who watched it.
since im polynesian, lol..i was defiantly aware of it. But thanks for explaining it for others who dont know of it and explaining it in an beautiful way also!

thiRd eyE wheeLer I'm Polynesian as well and it's no problem! it just made me so happy to see it and i noticed that no one really mentioned it after it came out! but that was one of the most touching, important parts of this movie that should be recognized (and what i enjoyed the most out of watching this movie)

This song is beautiful and after finally figuring out about the girls it was written for, I can't fight tears during this song whenever I watch the movie anymore. It's beautiful, so, SO beautiful, but it's also full of sadness in regards to the innocent lives lost. Its not just for Moana, it is for them.
This is the most beautiful song I have ever heard, her voice is so magical yet almost haunting. It makes the entire scene where Moana is chosen by the ocean. Incredible

MiniMoviesMaster it was a the only high school in Vaitupu, Tuvalu. The song was dedicated to the 19 girls who died in a house fire. The original song was sung in Tuvaluan but in the movie it was sung in Tokelauan. The lead singer of Te Vaka, Opetaia Foai, is half Tokelauan half Tuvaluan. My Tuvaluan family and i love this song because of meaningful it is. I am happy that u liked this song!!
