One point I missed in the video above was that these thermoplastic bushings are formulated to be much more resistant to the elements and thusly should last longer when exposed to the elements. Things like fuel, oil, heat, alkali, and general weather will be much less likely to wear these bushings down versus the factory rubber, silicone, or even billet aluminum!
Sorry for taking so long to reply to this! Yes, this is a great upgrade for a shifter assembly. Bushings are always very important to replace, especially on older vehicles. You will be much happier with the feel of the shifter afterwards!
I think poly is a great solution for a sportier feel but something that’s not going to be to stiff. It will keep a closer to oem feel than the thermo. Not a bad option, but poly will wear quicker also. Something to think about!
@@coryinmotion would you say hardrace/thermo bushings (thinking sway bar bushings in particular) are street-able for daily & spirited driving? I like the idea of no grease necessary too....
@@johns1646 definitely! Stiffer bushings will make your sway bar more effective as more of the flex will be focused into the sway bar and not deflected by the softer poly bushing material. You may hear a little more road noise versus poly however. Edit: definitely streetable lol

I enjoyed switching out my bushings and shifter with the skunk2.🔥🔥🔥🔥
HardRace has some amazing products! Great work my dude
They definitely do! Thanks!
Cool stuff!
That vain pop shot hahaha. I love my aftermarket bushings, I just need that little bushing for the ball on my car that would make it feel solid again
Haha right!
Oh man, yea that makes a world of difference! You should just replace the whole shifter though, they're getting cheaper ;)
Would you recommend installing this on a 99 stock daily D series hatch? that has been never replaced before.

What website you got it from
I believe I got them from JHPUSA
Thoughts on thermoplastic vs polyurethane?

@@coryinmotion thanks for the info!
@@johns1646 no problem! Thanks for supporting my channel friend!
How about aftermarket engine mount? It will kill both engine and transmission.
Aftermarket mounts do not cause any harm. They cause more vibration depending on how stiff the mounts are but in the end are not detrimental.
